I thought your explanation of the different locations were very good. I do disagree with what you said about flats though. I love anchor fishing on flats that are on the inside of a large bend in the river for springers. I do rely on using scent to bring them in to me. With that type of water the scent plume gets rather large as it travels down stream. Its been my experience the fish that are more likely to bite will fallow scent trails very nicely. Especially those rare large ones. Sadly I couldn't get out this season as I lost all the toes in my right foot from diabetes. Hopefully I'll get some time in on the Cowlitz before the run is over. Anyway have a great day. 😎🎣🐟
Great video. Is this the same boat you have had down here in Astoria the last 2 or 3 years? Or you still have your older boat when you don't need the big aluminumweld Columbia? Just curious great videos man keep em coming
@@DayOneOutdoors your welcome ive been watching your channel for a long time, since you started doing the daily bouy 10 updates and your recaps at end of the season before you head back home to your family and I know the work doesn't stop because the kings are still open in your area on up. You are a hard working good fishermen. Its gotta be hard to spend a month or more in a motel or camp trailer away from your wire and kids but you do what you gotta to keep that roof over the family's head and lights on and food on the table. A lot of you guys really grind. I live in Astoria and get the luxury to fish for silvers until sattle mountain elk season starts. Do you have website with merch or apparel with your brand available?
Thanks so much! We have hats available on our website but not all colors are shown! Send us an email directly from the website and I can shoot over options. Thanks again! www.dayoneoutdoors.com
