    It would be easy to take these updates for granted because they are like clockwork every Sunday, but I never do as I know how hard it must be to create, edit and publish this high quality of content week in, week out. Awesome work and fascinating as ever 🙂

      Can't see how employing someone to do something they are good at, is hard work 🤷‍♂️ also notice the title "uncut" this means not edited

      @@superchickensoup they still have to edit in all the glam and B roll shots, it’s a lot of filming behind the scenes to follow people working etc. sure it’s not hugely impressive if it’s their full time role but it’s still nice to appreciate the work

    I noticed that one of the lads was doing some lead work on the Escort. Given that lead vapour is nasty stuff I wondered why he wasn't using a mask to avoid breathing it in.

    • @FoxSpeedshop

      There are synthetic lead loading substitues available now which work well. Vapour isnt 'as bad' as breathing in powdered lead from sanding but im inclined to agree with you!

    I hate to be a party pooper but.... I find the Jensen a bit of a head-scratcher. It is about as original as your grandfather's axe now. I get the idea of restomod and how items like engine/brakes/suspension may be upgraded but seriously is there anything of the original car still here? (And crashworthiness doesn't bear consideration.)

    • @uliwehner
      @uliwehner Год назад +3

      why would that matter? it certainly still looks like a now very straight CV8. And it has a very cool, and also straight carbon body. I understand how that would crumple differently than the original fiberglass, but what exactly is your point? are you suggesting they should have built it from scratch without the use of the mold they made? they did need the original as a donor to make a proper, and straight mold.

    • @foamdataservices
      @foamdataservices Год назад +1

      The original was made of scrap, spit, sawdust and baler twine. Their version is way better! Crash protection from a proper carbon shell like they have made will be way better than the original as well. If you want an NCAP rating then you drive something modern. All classics are death traps compared to modern crash boxes.

      I'm a petrolhead and knew nothing of the Jensen CV8 until I saw this. I suspect that it's going to be uber cool, as only viewers of this channel would ever know how non-standard it really is, despite being customised to the nth degree.
