Mercedes W124 Mono Valve

Having fun with the mono valve, I clean it every other year it's easy , this system is not very dependable as these cars age, its responsible for for heat in those cold winter months along with aux water pump or heat from side vents with A/C on during the summer.

My mono valve looks the same on the outside, but the inside is different. it doesn't come apart. The large cylinder is completely sealed and only a small hole about 2-3mm in diameter where the plunger goes in.....Oh wait, maybe it's just welded shut from corrosion.
