Large companies have completely different versions of the websites for mobile. Its not to painful to have multiple version of the website to get it right. Just have to make 2 or 3 updates.
Unfortunately, the Thrive Themes Page Builder does not allow for easy differentiation between items for each display type, which can make the visual editing process confusing.
To work around this issue, I've found that it's best to construct the page in desktop view and then clone and move sections for tablet and mobile as needed.
Ideally, it would be helpful if the display-based items/sections were more easily distinguishable in the main view.
It does for me. ie if I have an image with padding 10px all around in desktop I can switch over to mobile and change it to 5px and it works fine. It didn't when they first came out with Architect but it was a few months later that it was fixed. Is it just specific items? Or all that you're experiencing this with?
@@tracyselena I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing.
As far as I know, I can't build in the mobile view mode. So, any items I want to add must be done in the desktop view mode. However, within the desktop view mode there is no way to ONLY show the tablet, or mobile elements WITHOUT clicking back over to the the specific view mode.
@@tracyselena Essentially, it would be great if the toggle on the left column that allows you to show/hide the table and mobile when making edits, had the option to show/hide each of the versions independently.
