      @ The color temperature of those lights is wonderful. At night the cabin must feel very cozy. It’s amazing how much nicer that area looks when there’s no shadow.
      I also like the fact that the light is continuous with no gap between the leds.

    I guess I no longer have any excuses about not installing the strip light under my wall units. It always looks easier when some one else is doing it.

    I've never before suffered with back problems but recently I have had a couple of pretty minor issues and it is no joke ! It seems to catch you out when you least expect it and there is never a good time for issues like that, take care Peter !

    Love it - a very nice job of wiring today. Those old Land Rover bonnets (Aussie for hood) with a spare tire, well they were the bane of my existence as an apprentice motor mechanic. Those days are long gone but my back remembers.... hope you are felling (feeling edit, felling might just be what you are feeling) better soon. For those wanting to play along WOTW was bonnet!

    Bad back for 43 years...I feel your pain! I lifted the paper tray from a printer on top of a file cabinet! Down down down , ouch!!!!!

    Of course you hurt your back, looking at the engine with that big old spare tire up on the hood. I was a victim of a spare tire once myself. It took two weeks for my pinched nerve to really get back to normal. The light strip looks wonderful. Keep up the great work.

    Interesting fact: COB LED's are addressable and programmable. The program chains the addresses in the command line. You could make five of them stacked, spell out things.

    There was a incident maybe two years ago of the french coast guard becoming very irritated while trying to hail a french tugboat at sea. The coasties boarded as officiously as only irritated coasties can to the complete surprise of the tug crew. The tug had not heard the hail at all . The cuase of the incident was determined to be the magnetic fields generated by LEDs used for both running lights(Near the antenna ) and overhead lighting in the wheel house. The International maritime organization is considering a rule on LEDs. Have you ever held a radio near an energized LED strip? Nocks the hell out of the singnal. Just food for thought.
    (Ed) A note on wire . Never paint wires. As paint dries it cracks the insulation. Repainting creates more cracking force. These micro cracks let moister in that also lead to the destruction of long lengths of wire. If you must paint , parcel the wire with tape and paint that parcelling.

    Lower back exercises. Must continue to breathe while doing these. Pull in stomach muscles like somebody is going to punch you below the belly button. Hold for 10 seconds. Release. Do this 12 times a day. 10 seconds at a time. This does a better job then the electrodes and pulsed current PT clinics do.

    Still using the HAND hammer I see. So my warnings over the last 4 years, have fallen on deaf ears. Fast forward 15 years and you will regret it. But, another enjoyable episode.
