I partially understand your perspective here. On one hand, not getting far enough into a particular work of fiction prevents you from fully understanding and engaging with its themes, mechanics, etc.
However, if you're about halfway through the work of fiction or media, and you're still not enjoying it, I don't think it's fair to expect them to continue or finish it. And if they don't, I don't think it's fair to criticize them for expressing their dislike of said media.
If you're like 60 minutes through even a slow movie and you're not enjoying it, I think it’s fine to stop watching it.

My memory wasn't the best when I made my vid, so thanks for reacting to it. I can't believe the absolute GALL of this man. Sure, Arkham Knight has plenty of flaws that EVERYONE has already pointed out, but it is FAR from a BAD game! Like I said in my vid as well, AK is NOT my favorite, so ya'll know I ain't glazing it.
Mayo also basically called Trepang2 mid, which I just finished today and can say with absolute certainty is NOT mid! Had to throw that out there.
But yeah, I agree with Tricky here, he covered things that I missed/forgot about, so show this man sum love right here!

Yo thanks cus for the support. Arkham knight certainly ain’t the best and has a lot of flaws but it is my favorite imo because I felt like the combat just brings me in and I can replay it days on end just like Arkham city. Im glad we share the same opinion bout mayos video tho much love man!

@@tricky7153 Hell yeah, brother. The combat is indeed addicting. Like I said in my vid, I hadn't really played AK in like a month (Actually, if you erase the time I got the SOI dlc and tried the Killer Croc mission, it was more like 4 or 5 months), but I'm still able to dominate in combat because it's literally a part of me now lol.
Also, when he said that he felt like the combat was too easy, I think he forgot the saying "Practice makes perfect" because he played Asylum and City before that, so he had practice, which made him better at the game, which made the combat seem easier!
I swear Mayo is a little special in the brain sometimes smh

I hate the fact that he makes a video ranting about the game in question and plays it for about half the game and then quits when he thinks it’s terrible. The fact that he said that the Arkham knight combat feels slow immediately proves that he never compared the last 2 games combat to this one to see how much they improved in every way. It’s sad too see tho that Mayo makes these brain dead takes and his fans just eat it up and he complained that there were a bunch of options in combat and I’m thinking that if they kept the same combat as Ac he would complain that it’s not any different.

My video isn’t the best in responding to the points made in this vid so this comment is to explain further those points to those who didn’t understand the first time
Mayos complaint about the Batmobile being in the first half of the game and tank combat: I agree that the Batmobile shouldn’t have been used this much but it is not in half of the game we still have dlc other side missions and the fact that we have percentages that prove the Batmobile is 20 to 19% in the game. Yes it feels overused and I get that but it’s not in half of the game so that’s false.
Mayos point about Batman porn: there is in fact no nudity in Arkham knight he complains about Batman putting on all this sick gear and high tech stuff Even tho he did that in Arkham city and he didn’t complain whatsoever. Batman needs all this high tech stuff to fight the milita of course they are going to make him as badass as they can lol he’s batman.
Mayos point about the combat being slow: the combat isn’t slow or bad it’s the same combat from city just upped up and way better and faster he also says after he got out of the tank he forgot all of the buttons already. Gee im sure you have forgotten all the buttons when you played asylum and city.

You know? There is one thing about the "Too much Batmobile" complaints that's always bothered me; Back when Arkham Asylum came out, fans were clamoring for the ability to drive the Batmobile in the next game, we didn't get that (obviously) but it still continued on until Arkham Knight came out where people are complaining about the Batmobile being overused. I'd be going "Well, you wanted the Batmobile, you got it so why are you complaining?"

Usually people are more bothered by something being imposed on them rather than things missing. Forcing multiple tank battles in a batman game is a decision someone at Rocksteady made after doing copious ammounts of crack. No one would've complained at the batmobile being just a car. Instead the game had to invent contrivances like the remote controlled tanks and the electric non lethal bumpers.

Glad you made this vid, Arkahm Knight is actually my favorite of all the batman games. I think the batmobile sections really arent that annoying. Like you got 3 batman games where you just beat up badguys then the 3rd throws a batmobile in there and everybody freaks out????

It’s used barely even a quarter of the game. That Boy Aqua did the math. The vast majority of the game, main story, side missions, and DLC; are not done in the Batmobile. Some of them use them more than others like the entire Riddler sidequest is half spent in the Batmobile and stuff like the Firefly and Miltia APC side quests are all Batmobile but most of them either don’t use the Batmobile at all or you use it for a small puzzle here and there and you move on.
I think the Bat Tank sections towards the back end of the game get to be a bit much and like most other people, I agree that having what are supposed to be major pivotal boss fights with the Arkham Knight and Deathstroke be in the Batmobile are pretty lame. But it’s not even close to most or half of the game. If the Batmobile was most of the game for you, I’m sorry to say man, but that is completely your own fault.

Open World, Traversal, Combat, Abilities, Gadgets > than the rest of the Arkham series
Under the Mayo sounds impatient and very determined to not like the game for the sake of holding Arkham City higher.
I give City Story and boss fights, but Arkham Knight does literally EVERYTHING ELSE bigger and better.
Harp on the Batmobile and Tank sections all you want. Theres plenty of DLC story, missions and challenges in the game that are nothing but COMBAT and stlealth.
And for a side note, i DETEST gamers that complain about lack of challenege ON THE EASIEST DIFFICULTIES.
This game is very challenging on Knightmare difficulty

Objectively is knight the worst? Fuck no! It’s legit still a good game and it’s show with how much slop is coming from the western market of triple As games.
-graphics are really good
-character models look fantastic
-great animation
- the best combat that rocksteady learn from asylum and city to make it.
-stealth being good still
-is the pinnacle Batman experience
I can go on but there’s a lot of pros of AK that outweighs it being from a terrible game. Subjectively I can understand it not being everyone favorite because it does have flaws.

Just a couple thoughts I had while watching the video
