Hi Bern, a fellow FZS1000 owner here, I own a 2003 Gen 1 thou, full monty ivans kit plus sports filter & can, ported intakes, bikes, a rocket ship on wheels ... hate motorway riding personally, but it's the quickest way from A-B mostly, much prefer howling round twisty lanes ... seems you need a wind sock of some sort on ya mic, only hear wind noise, even worse when doing a life safer glance over the shoulder ... I suggest you cool it a bit o the Motorway, lots of unmarked plod around, even use trucks on occasion, some of your moves are not cool, silly undertake across 4 lanes, ya gunna get nabbed if you carry on riding like this mate ... keep it shiny side up bro👍
Just got a 2005 (Carbs) FZS1000 with chopping in my 600 bandit (2000)....the performance is night and day....I loved my bandit but this is a league above...pulling power is awesome....not got it to top speed yet, needs a quiet (Night) motorway to be safe....LOVE IT ! (Just getting a fuel gauge is worth the upgrade...😊) Next project is gear indicator to stop me from trying to fine the 7th gear.....😂
Cheers Tony. Im gonna say those are kilometres per hour😀 if I'm honest the longer I ride this bike, the more difficult I find it to keep within limits. The acceleration is addictive.
@@JohnsysChannel last year I rode from Leeds to Scotland via North Yorkshire, the Lake District & Northumberland and deliberately chose the smallest of county lanes and stayed away from main roads. It took all day but I swear it was the best ride ever.
@@bernardridesagain5722 I totally agree. It was a pain for me cos I was on my little 125 carrying camping gear, cooking gear, 3 weeks of clothes and my fat arse! So the poor bike was getting abused, but the scenery and little villages you find that you'd just bypass on a motorway made it so worth it.
@@JohnsysChannel ruclips.net/video/3CA3U1i_EqY/видео.html My boy on his 125 in the pennines. Smaller bikes are not so quick but awesome on these roads. This was early on in my RUclips career. I think the view is an important part of riding. (excuse the boy, he had a bump on the head🤣)
Anyone thinking of buying a fazer1000 this video shows you very accurately how it is on the motorway even the wind buffeting noise, very nice video.
I had this bike back in the day, great machine!
Awesome, bike sounds loverly 👍🏍
Thanks. Just had a full service. It's almost done 7k miles now and just had a full service. Makes me tingle inside😁
Great video that buddy. 👍😁

Good to see taught that boy racer a lesson 😂😂👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 😀
Love the gen 1 fazer, top bike for fun and games, wouldnt change mine for any other bike,as I know I would regret it.
I've been looking at the BMW S1000xr. A good competitor for the fazer. I'm unsure though because I love my fazer soooo much. Best bike I ever owned.
I used to drive that road every week when I was going to Uni in Scarborough.
I love Scarborough
@@bernardridesagain5722 Same, Absolutely adored living there.
Great video man
Thank you sir.
Undertaking like that is a bad habit. Illegal for good reason
Great bikes, i love mine, but riding 90mph in a 50mph limit...gonna get yourself banned mate.

When did people become such bitchy, babies.
It's bloody pokey .
So mate but your style of riding gets us all a bad name. Keep going like that and you'll soon end up in a box 🙄
Pity the first gen fazer is carb....much comfier than the 2nd gen fazer
Why the huge preference for fuel injection ?, Does it make you a better rider.
Motorways? Na no place for motorcycles!
I dunno John. They are nice and wide and as long as you read the traffic well I actually think they are safer than most of the B roads.
@@bernardridesagain5722 I rode my 125 from Liverpool to Glastonbury on A and B roads. It was a prick.
