First and foremost the games fun but it does have FPS drops which I hope they fix. Also I did notice a lackluster roster but I believe they'll add them in as time comes. Hopefully we get a new road map soon. Career might get stale after a few months that's my worry. Hope they give us stuff to keep us engaged as online doesn't intrest me. (Unless they did a online career or ultimate team style mode) lastly the graphics are amazing they've put in hard work and it tells nothing is majorly broken (I haven't saw or experienced yet) so some small tweaks needed but was expected
Okay, I love boxing. I love boxing videos. I've played every boxing video game since the NES days. I bought this game 20 months ago and put in 197 hours during the beta. This game is mid. IGN gave it a 6 because it's a 6. The Steam version of the game on PC was at a 70% positive rating during most of the beta. The full version of the game since its release only 3 days ago is sitting at 42% positive. Since its release, 198 of the last 328 reviews of this game have been negative. Of the 130 positive reviews probably half of them have been people giving it an above average rating just because it's the best boxing game we have on PC outside of emulation. The other half is grading it on potential. I had the second to last beta version on PC as a 7 out of 10. But after the last beta that nerfed speed and stamina, I was not hopeful for the actual release. So for the good. The game feels smoother, and fighter models and arenas look great. Punches connect better and UI is improved. The bad. Punch speed and movement have been nerfed. Haymakers are overpowered and cartoonish looking. I personally didn't even use the power modifier in the beta but you have to now to do any kind of damage. If you choose not to you can move and outbox someone all fight just to run out of stamina and barely win a decision or get KO'd yourself. Then there's the lack of modes, online connections, and cheaters. Create a fighter skills cap and most launch fighters do not have their own animations. Oh, don't let me forget defense is a joke now. The game is not trash. I consider a 7 an above-average game, an 8 or better is a good to great game, and a 6 is a slightly above-average game. This game is a 6. I would have given the second to last beta version of the game an 8 if it had the same amount of polish as this with the beta gameplay. The game went backward in my opinion. But it is the best you can get on PS5 and PC right now.

It’s absolute rubbish that you can throw nothing but haymakers for 8 rounds with no repercussions. This game is honestly ass, I’m sure it will get better over time but if a big time studio would’ve made this game it would be so much better. This looks like it should’ve came out in 2002.
I love it ! Its the boxing game i always wanted the in depth of boxing. Its like a RPG game but boxing i love it ! Making bad or good decisions is awesome to me.
Gameplay is awesome, everything else kinda sucks and they really need to fix online stuff. Its still not really finished though and I really hope they use the money from sales to give the fans what they want asap :)
@@WelcometoGaming I get 1000 Mbps of internet! But I've had a couple of bad matches but I've played for 18 hours strictly online! I've had a few bad games but no more than on UFC 5
Oh and yeah, gameplay wise I think they need to rework the defensive mechanics, especially the weaving and slip mechanics which are almost useless at the moment because of the input lag for slips and the boxers dont lean enough when weaving imo. Its all small stuff that definetly be fixed though and I hope they do.
This game NEEDS an instant replay not only for knockdowns And perhaps more customization option (more hair styles, stuff like body hair, more facial hair styles) And yea...cant speak about online, i havent touch it but i have seen awful stuff bout it so... hopefully is just a thing about it not being actually out? Otherwise, those servers need to be look up
@ced214 you call this spam power punch non skilled game better haha ok authentic my arse all they fixed was the commentary n even that's still not perfect which is frankly embarrassing all they did was OP power punches and made other punches slightly faster and snappy but now irrelevant as they don't do the damage needed when everyones just power spamming and overall it's worse if you don't see that your woke n wearing rose tinted glasses.

Where's the so called most authentic boxing experience when roy jones can't block shit cos the philly shell is so badly optimised in this game just one example everyone playing online is just power punch spamming. Play online n see everyone power punch spamming or disconnecting coz it stops it from counting as a loss you literally can't fight with Roy Jones or anyone using philly shell cos it's so badly optimised you can't stop a punch.
