I am a writer and have a small collection of them, mainly a seperate scavenger tribe of a far away region that drinks this weird goop byproduct of a Itty's experiments and most members sorta look like fucking Nurgle creatures than Scavengers with wild mutations and such. Its a wonder they are still alive.

Being an animator is not easy but animating something like this is even harder, you put so much effort and dedicate to this. I adore you for that, you put so many detail and shading it definitely took a long time, for one person that is really well done for a 3 month of work, just to show us this animation longer than 2 whole minute and that is longer than most animation. I have a scavenger "friend" (has never attacked me a single time) that I've encountered in most of my playthroughs. I have fondly given them the nickname "Scavby" They are chocolate brown with small spines, a beige Twisting Roads-esque mask (only one set of short handles though), and rot blue colored eyes (without pupils). The worst that they've ever done to me is hit me with a rock (even when playing as Arti).
Has anyone ever wondered what scavengers eat? They are always running around with spears and pebbles, but almost never with food. PERHAPS THEY FEED ON YOUR HATE WHEN THEY THROW PEBBLES IN YOUR FACE, TIME AFTER TIME.
One thing I really appreciate about the fight you made is the kind of desperation that's being choreographed. It doesn't feel like anyone here is pulling punches, the artificer seems like she's putting in real effort to not get murdered by even the regular scavs. The fact that explosions are working both for and against the artificer is a great touch, really sells the vibe that her rage is a curse not only to those near her, but to herself. It's also just really characteristic of Rainworld combat, where even skill won't save you sometimes.
Your wawawawawawawa animation actually introduced me to rain world, didn't even know what it was until I saw that shitpost, but I loved it. Even having not actually played the game myself and knowing basically nothing about its story or even gameplay, I still enjoyed this animation. You did good work!

This is a really pretty animation, incredible work you've done with the flow and the designs! Just one thing that griped me was, since you explained everything at the start, i couldn't help but notice those details from the first time i watched the animation itself, such as "oh yeah that sounds like a peach being eviscerated" at the munching, so my tip i guess (if you can call it that even, the animation itself is incredible) is to present the details (of how you did the things and the shortcuts you took) after the viewers have enjoyed the animation, i find that this way you can appreciate the work twice as much!

The Artificer is probably one of the saddest campaigns, after all, she (the artificer) had children and they were kill by Scavengers, and with so much grief and sadness, she devoted her life to getting revenge.
What and incredible animation! It pretty much sums up the main parts of the Artificer's campaign in Metropolis. You fight scavengers in random places, in tolls and in the arena. You have to still fight scavs while you're fighting scavenger chieftain. Also, it was nice to get to know what was your thought process on this animation. You had found some clever solutions to the issues you faced on the way.

As someone that's also been working on making an animation, it saddens me to find that i'm not the only one that had to lower the quality and cut corners during the work. Imagine the masterpieces that could be created if people weren't limited by the burden of time. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic piece of art, and a great inspiration. Definitely worth the time spent on it.

Despite RW being a rather small comunity it's SUCH a telented one. Like omg! Look at this! It's insane! Encapsulates pretty well the absolute panic of trying to fight that bastard for the first time, too.
I was super excited to see how the snippet d animatiom turned out. Imagine my excitement for it to come with a comprehensive sort of Dev journal. Animatiom is actually incredible. I gotta drop it all the places your shitpostery gets showed off on the regular. Shot names made me giggle. Walk past corps. Get angy. The processed dirt explosion and the pearl-remover bonk were both clever workarounds to make the workload realistic.
As a neophyte in animation this video was super insightful into the process and workflow of one of the most expressive Rain World animators out there! I hope this video gets enough views to justify doing more of these 'breakdown' / process videos (and doesn't get buried by the standalone animation's views). I think one thing I found surprisingly insightful was your takeaways at 11:39 , like usually Im so busy looking at whats there to think how it could be better (brain to smol, not enuf exp, lvl to low skill issue) Great video! Absolutely fantastic animation, unsurprisingly coming from you!!~ Your attention to detail is brilliant, making sure to point out the multiple layers of red centipede armor, Arti low on food an unable to repurpose a grenade after showing them crafting an explosive spear walking in to the fight, all very good shots and sequences. One small thing I wanted to point out is I think it would've been a good touch for Arti to stake a spear in the Scav chief while donning his mask, showing her dominance over the Scav and triumph in the battle. All in all, incredible animation and as always, I look forward to all of your uploads!!~

The idea of makinf the scav fall so you don't have to draw pearls its the best think out of the box I have ever seen
I was super excited to see how the snippet d animatiom turned out. Imagine my excitement for it to come with a comprehensive sort of Dev journal. Animatiom is actually incredible. I gotta drop it all the places your shitpostery gets showed off on the regular.
Shot names made me giggle. Walk past corps. Get angy. The processed dirt explosion and the pearl-remover bonk were both clever workarounds to make the workload realistic.
As a neophyte in animation this video was super insightful into the process and workflow of one of the most expressive Rain World animators out there!
I hope this video gets enough views to justify doing more of these 'breakdown' / process videos (and doesn't get buried by the standalone animation's views).
I think one thing I found surprisingly insightful was your takeaways at 11:39 , like usually Im so busy looking at whats there to think how it could be better (brain to smol, not enuf exp, lvl to low skill issue)

Your attention to detail is brilliant, making sure to point out the multiple layers of red centipede armor, Arti low on food an unable to repurpose a grenade after showing them crafting an explosive spear walking in to the fight, all very good shots and sequences.
One small thing I wanted to point out is I think it would've been a good touch for Arti to stake a spear in the Scav chief while donning his mask, showing her dominance over the Scav and triumph in the battle.
All in all, incredible animation and as always, I look forward to all of your uploads!!~

This is amazing, but the large "BOOF" noise from the metropolis threat theme sounds alot like the vine boom sound. When it just cuts to the dead king, it's just perfect. You make me smile.

For a first fighting animation it is quite impressive i gotta. Yes you're right there is some little stuff that could be better here and there but overall it is a fantastic outcome. You have got reason to be proud of yourself with this one^^

artificer is my favorite scug and seeing her commit genocide on the scav populace is always a treat, you really captured wat it feels like beating the scav chieftan for the first time
I also really appreciate the behind the scene on this one, seeing all the thought and effort put behind this animation makes me love it even more
funnily enough, in every zombie show/movie, the eating soundeffects for the zombies are this one dude VIOLENTLY EATING A TOMATO.

I love this! I’ve always had a love in art and I’m slowly starting to do animations! I hope I can finish my first one before, or at least within the first week of 7th grade. Someday I hope to get good enough where I can make my own animations (instead of animation memes) and someday make my own animated series (which I’ve wanted to do ever since I was little).
