im very intrigued, i never got on with the SAR, the action of the bolt is too clunky, and caused to many flips and jams for my liking, so im excited to get my hands on this and see how it compares to the SAR, and my Hammer 7
You'll never have a flip with the CCM mag system. That's my favorite part about this marker, the smoothness and reliability. I think a CCM would be a great marker for you, whether it's the M40 or the SSR.
Nice video man, thanks for showing that off! Definitely has a nice place in todays bolt action markers wondering what options as far as stock there will be, something a little more compact would be sweet
do they make a left handed model? i own a vortex reacher - left handed. my right eye never leaves the scope and my right finger is always on the trigger. I am left handed but right arm dominate.
@@nightgoji3592 They sell here: store.chipleymachine.com/ccm-m40-bolt-action-first-strike-rifle-prototype/ Right now they are still in the "prototype" stage. Bill (the owner of CCM) put a lot of money into making the prototypes, which is why they are very expensive. Production models will be cheaper.
Hi I Been looking for a hammer 7 for about 2 years after have no luck finding one I would like to see it you would sell yours are point me in the direction to find one
I love the look of the stock and the bolt action mechanism but the magazine and the air feed system are a big no no for me. I would much prefer it to be an air thru stock allowing it to have a full size magazine.
@@stick276 Reliability is always a benefit. However, if the regulator and air line were located in the stock it would allow you to have a deeper, higher capacity continuous feed magazine with the same arched head for the bolt to push through. Aesthetically and ergonomically I think it would be a nicer layout. Looks like it shoots really nicely though.
@@Droakner due to the nature of the Sheridan valve setup, that would be near impossible, not to mention add a lot more work to the creation of the stock. I was skeptical of the mag/air setup as well at first, but it really works nicely. In addition, you can use 12 grams and have no remote at all.
I've been dying to get my hands on a model 700 style paintball gun for a long time but never could and now I'm really interested in getting one of these. I'm a huge fan of using first strikes but there is some fields that doesn't allow first strikes and only allows normal 68 cal. paintballs. Is it possible to use both first strikes and normal 68 cal. paintballs with this gun
I'm honestly not sure when they will be up for sale. CCM has released a few images of the production models so far, but has stated no definite timeline. The Facebook Group SR1, SSR & SSPAR Owners will probably have the most up-to-date information.
The rail I purchased was this one: Savage Website : www.egwguns.com/scope-mounts-rings/savage-round-back-short-action-picatinny-rail-scope-mount-0-moa-ambidextrous/ Amazon ($4 cheaper): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VQXWFY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 However, it did not fit without me modifying it. The screws and corresponding holes that came with it were much smaller diameter than what came on the M40. They still lined up, but I had to drill out the rail to fit the stock M40 screws to mount it. It wasn't difficult to do but you definitely want a drill press if you're going to attempt. There's another one that may have the correct size here: www.egwguns.com/scope-mounts-rings/hd-savage-short-action-drilled-for-8-screws-picatinny-rail-scope-mount-0-moa-ambidextrous/ I'll message Bill and see if I can find out what the screw size is. You may find that you like the stock rails just fine, as they give a very open access to the breach, which is quite nice. Hope that helps, happy to have an M40 brother!
Unfortunately, there’s none in production yet. CCM did make 12 prototypes, which have all sold out already. CCM has been working on developing the final version. You can check out their progress on their website or the CCM Owner’s Group on Facebook. store.chipleymachine.com/ facebook.com/groups/1238555369542862
Have not heard any news from CCM. They are a small company and work slow, but they make quality products. Check of the SSR SR1 and SSPAR owners page on Facebook for the most current news.
Oh my God that is so sexy marker! Any gameplay videos of you playing it? I just got my ssr and gonna start using it soon for my gameplays. Have fun man you’re lucky to have the prototype.
I have only played once with it so far, and I did not record the game. I didn't do much worth recording that game, but I am going to do gameplay videos in the future.
I think all the prototypes may be sold for now. The prototypes were very expensive, $1300. Production models will be cheaper. Estimated maybe $800 range? This is purely speculation though. I'm not sure what the timeline looks like for release.
The guts are essentially a pump autococker. There's no good way to run the hose through the stock. In the bottom of the magazine works just fine. Also, you can use 12 grams there instead, which eliminates the hose altogether.

Very nice... looks really good!
Stunning bit of kit as good as I imagined it would be ❤️👍🏻

the sound the FS makes before impact... Outstanding!

When will you sell them
What was your distance to the Target you were shooting at I'd like to know the accuracy in yards that is the best way to calculate in paintball
Distance was 65 yards. The entire target was about 1 yard x 1 yard. The actual grouping was probably 15-18".

Link to the product please
oooo I’m definitely interested. I’ve got a SAR12 and absolutely love it but I’d love to add another sniper platform to my arsenal
They are really smooth! You'll never flip a round. You'll also never have to worry about FSR nipples, the mags always feed. Always.
Stick that’s awesome! Do you know how much these markers will go for and a release date?

The capacity of the magazine is small but you will never have any sort of feed problems with them. They are simple and reliable.

$$$ it's Truly amazing
Does it only shoot first strikes
It can shoot regular paintballs if you hand load them in the breech. The magazine will crush paintballs under spring pressure.
Cool thanks
Beautiful marker! Any links to it? And how is the consistency of it on hpa and CO2.
The only link I can give you is the one in the description. It's not currently for sale to the general public just yet.
@@stick276 I'm gonna be wait very impatiently for this to come out . I was looking at doing something like this with a sar12
@@ExplorePaintball Oh, and I believe the consistency of both the SSR and the M40 is +/- 2.5 FPS with HPA and around +/- 5 FPS with 12 grams.

Is there a performance dif with co2 vs hpa?
Due to the regulated nature of HPA, it's going to be a bit more consistent with HPA vs CO2. People still get very good performance on CO2.
Any update?

I'm deadly accurate at around 34 to 52 yards with my 98 Custom sniper Flatline Barrel
Soooooo when will these be available for purchase?
