Join WatchMojo.com as we count down the Top 10 Movies starring Clint Eastwood.
Clint Eastwood has always been my favorite actor, ever since I saw The Good, The Bad and the Ugly for the first time. He is an awesome actor and a great director.
Night Stalker935 i agreed with you even though as a 90's kid but watching that movie never failed to get the goosebumps everytime till now 🙌😎 Clint you're the greatest
Bueno el mall y el fro
Me too.
They should do a list for 50 Clint Eastwood movies now, including the ones where he only directed.
This man is a living breathing god both in front and behind the camera, he is one of my personal heroes simply because his growl/casual facial expression can intimidate even the toughest of men. when he does pass, i will cry for days on end because of how much his movies inspired me and an entire generation. Thank you Mr. Eastwood for the work you do.
the man is 85 now...he is still a bad ass to me.
+Vampire he is
l see Eastwood as young and remind me Wolverine from X-men
+sebastian alegria Hugh Jackman watched a lot of Eastwood film preparing for the role of Wolverine :)
Ronnel Panciles good point, thanks
Vampire age doesn't mean a thing, a man's life is what makes him bad ass. Time is unforgiving but it can't erase what you were and always will be.
It will be a dark day on Earth when this man leaves us. His legacy is reflected in his talents both on camera and off camera. May his many talents continue to inspire us all.
Clint Eastwood > Chuck Norris
Jimi Hendrix havent see a chuck norris movie in my life..
I'm not really sure that was ever really up for debate.
Clint Eastwood is Chuck Norris’s grandfather who taught him all he knows.
Two badass
Chuck Norris eats soup with a fork
Gran Torino, Good, Bad & Ugly and Escape From Alcatraz are my 3 favourites. Clint is a legend.
Just came here to say how shitty Gran Torino is and how badly it’s aged
@@theeoddments960 how badly it's aged, huh? If you don't like the movie that's fine, but time makes no difference to the story it tells.
Pale Rider? For a Few Dollars More? A Fistful of Dollars? High Plains Drifter?
a top 10 is to small for Clint:)
typical mojo populist shite. still, they keep the kids amused. 😉
The fact "For a Few Dollars More" isn't on this list is proof the compilers of this list need a "Few Brain Cells More".
J Ward High Planes Drifter for sure. He renames the town Hell and painted it red! Then shot it to pieces. Only only "Once Upon A Time In The West" compares & "The Magnificent Seven" and Eastwood was the only star in Drifter.
Has Watchmojo got a top ten list right, EVER!???
"For a few dollars more" deserved to be in the list!
Clint Eastwood: simply the best!
Well there is not one bad movie with or by Clint Eastwood.
Bruningable every which way but loose?
I liked that movie....
murican sniper though
Bruningable every which way but loose is bad, just plain bad.
Jersey Boys?
I love Clint Eastwood. :)
He rocks
I just hate it when people compare Clint Eastwood to God. I mean, he's cool and all, but he's no Clint Eastwood.
***** that made my day :)
Andree Adams :')
inhales deeply

Eastwood's first film was a fistful of dollars in 1964 and has been a beloved actor ever sense. We love you, Clint Eastwood!
Who else thinks that Clont Eastwood should be old Bruce Wayne , i dont mean Bruce from The Dark Knight Returns but the one from Batman Beyond , just look at old Bruce in Batman Beyond he looks just like Clint , besides the great acting skills of Clint could very easily show how hurt and depressed Bruce is from the past! Waw it would be heaven for me to see him as Bruce
That’d be awesome!
Who would play Batman / Terry McGuiness?
Good Ideal.
91 now and still kicking a$$ . I hope he lives for many many more years to come :)
Outlaw Josie Wales my #1, then High Plains Drifter #2. That was the first ghost movie western I'd ever seen or heard of! but just about anything by Clint Eastwood is awesome.
Update! After reading a lot of the comments below I have decided that I just can't not categorize many of his movies. I have never watched one that I disliked. Eastwood is one fine Actor, Writer, Director, musician etc....I could go on. He is my favorite actor. Maybe one of the best there is.

Josey Wales, a man that has killed so many, yet is a peaceful soul, who only fights when he must to protect the ones he loves. A man who never hesitated to draw his weapon, but who was also smart enough to know when not to. A man who won a battle against an entire tribe of native americans without firing a single bullet. I could go on, but you already know what I speak of.
Indeed... a masterpiece
LordDanko
If you can recall, at the beginning of Josey Wales, him and his son were plowing a field when them Red legs burned his house, his son burned in the fire, his wife beaten and raped...

I'm a big fan of The Eiger Sanction. This 1975 movie has a dynamic plot, a mixture of suspense and humor, lovely dialogues and generally a great atmosphere enhanced by fantastic shots of mountains. Clint was its director.
He also did all of his climbing stunts himself after his double was injured early in the shoot.
Yeah I love "The Eiger Sanction" as well as the other movie he made with George Kennedy, "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot".
My favorite actor and forever will
Clint Eastwood has had such a long and illustrious career in film that to only pick the top ten of his best films is just barely breaking the surface. A true iconic legend who's landmark legacy of films will continue to endure for years to come.
THANK YOU WITH MUST APPRECIATE FOR SHOWING THESES "CLASSIC " CLIPS. AND TO SAY MR.CLINTON CLINT EASTWOOD JR. I LOVE YOU MY DEAR "FRIEND" FOREVERMORE. 🎅x
In this current climate of highly partisan politics, as an unabashed liberal, I absolutely love Clint Eastwood and all his movies. A top ten list can't do him justice.
Clint is my favorite my dad made me watch these westerns and I fell in love just like he did with the stories
The MAN is 91 now. His new movie Cry Macho is coming out soon. Long live the legend !!

My favorite is In the Line of Fire. So suspenseful.
Clint Eastwood is one of the coolest mans ever lived on this planet and the best actor ever.
men*
All Clint performances are great, but what i think tops everything is where he plays Rowdy in the old TV series Rawhide. Eastwoods first breakthrough, legendary. Eastwoods character have also followed his age quite interestingly, his youth he played a hot-head youngling who were aspiring to take his boss' place, then he became a more serious, cold adult and now he's more of a grumpy, wise old man, i find it funny how this reflects many peoples life-cycles.
Gran torino is most badass Clint Eastwood movie from my opinions... He punish them all... Death as real true hero and man... 😀👍
Just a Legend. Hate to see him so old and declined physically. But age and gravity catches up with everyone. He's in John Wayne's class of icon actors. Sean Connery is the only other actor that had that magic On-Screen presence to me. However, Connery's career impact was for a far shorter duration. Don't see anyone now or upcoming that has it. But because of all of Eastwood's great movies, 500 years from now, people (if Earth survives) will still be able to watch his movies and see how great he was. Wish we all could have that legacy.
When Clint retires , who will take over with quality like this ? No one that I can see on the horizon.
Clint Eastwood's movies never get old
BEST TOP 10 IN A LONG TIME
Easily one of the best actors and directors ever..the most respect for one of the greatest at his profession.'
Thanks Clint Eastwood for making the lockdown great.
One of his best was The Eiger Sanction that get's overlooked too often sadly. Also Joe Kidd was another great western of his. The original badass and a cultural icon, he is known throughout the world for decades and no other actor even comes remotely close to him.
most handsome man of our times
Imagine Clint Eastwood was one of the playable characters in Black Ops 2's Mob of the Dead, his quotes would be amazing, anyway he's a fucking legend and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is my favorite movie of all time.

He is 90 years old and cool as nobody will ever be.
Unforgiven is my #1 Clint Eastwood movie! Unforgiven was the film that made me a Clint Eastwood! I love the dark tone and set up of that movie! Clint Eastwood kicks ass as William Munny! Unforgiven, in my opinion, will always be my #1 Eastwood film! It gets better every viewing!
