Correct me if I’m wrong but she’s never beaten anyone significantly taller than her. Ernesta has not the best takedown defense but I’m sure after her last fights that’s what she’s been focusing on also having over two months prep for this fight. She’s got over a half a foot reach and a few inches of height advantage. If she keeps barbosa on the feet I don’t see barbosa putting any hands on her. I think the only way barbosa wins if she can keep her on the ground and grind a decision. We saw Ernesta get a upset recently too similarly because of this though the other fighter wasn’t as good as barbosa. It’s just those physical attributes when coached right are scary. That’s how Sean o malley weight bullies his division because he practices good takedown defense and he has some jiujitsu on the side but ya. Just my take. Enjoy hearing your takes though! Let me know what you think of my response
Ernesta can focus on grappling but that won't help against someone with good takedowns and a good ground game like Barbosa. Grappling stamina and striking stamina are totally different. If Ernesta gets taken down or has to defend constant takedown attempts, her striking won't look too good even if she has a long reach. If Ernesta keeps the fight standing, fights behind her jab and doesn't get taken down she probably wins. Good luck if you think that's gonna happen. I'm on the Barbosa takedown train!
@@SportsbookKillaz-fr6xh I see where you’re coming from. Hopefully ernestas been training the takedown defense and can fight on the outside. I’ll be disappointed if I don’t see improvements from her last fight even though she won, but she should be able to keep that distance with that much reach
@@KultureCombatMMAhonestly, I thought Barbosa won the 1st round, 2nd round was a toss up and Ernesta won the 3rd round. You know UFC judges rarely get it right.
Barbosa got it done like I told yall! She barely got it done but I'll take it!
