  • Henry Cejudo demonstrates the Jiu Jitsu techniques of Penetration and Level Change.
    Once your relaxed and alert, you're ready for the penetration step. As you step forward, drive your knee forward as your body goes down into position. Be aware of all the pockets your opponent exposes so you can get inside. Once you establish an open opportunity, go for it by stepping forward as you drop. Lift your your rear foot and move it all the way forward then and set it. You are ready for your take down.
    Don't let your feet get too far apart. If needed, continue to adjust the distance between your feet by bringing your back foot closer to the front.
    BJJ Fanatics was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your BJJ skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for BJJ Students who don’t look at BJJ as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

      @@ryanpatterson3900 it’s weird. He’s number 1 combat athlete. Olympics and 2 ufc titles. But I wouldn’t put him top 5 for either individually. More accomplished Olympic wrestlers. And as for UFC, top 5 is probably Jon Jones, GSP, Demetrious Johnson, Anderson Silva & Khabib. Volk is coming up too, so is Izzy, and Usman had a decent claim in his prime.

      always man, take the basics slow and easy till its integrated as second nature. Don't wanna develop bad habits which will prevent you from reaching an advanced level

      @@yggdrasil523I completely agree with you. I started doing double leg takedowns with my head down as a BJJ white belt until someone finally noticed it 6 months later and corrected me. It took me nearly that long to break the habit. 8 years later and I’m still fine tuning. I really like the cheat step he demonstrated and can’t wait to try this tonight.

    Change the description, these are not jiu jitsu techniques, these are wrestling techniques. People might find this misleading, you know?!

    • @CH-tv1cy
      @CH-tv1cy 5 лет назад +9

      Yeah, I was thinking exactly the same. But then again, modern jiu-jitsu is just Catch wrestling anyway. No does traditional jiu-jitsu anymore, it'll get you no-where these days.
