To me is, the way he speaks that I find lovely, and his expresions and smile, just looks like a genuine nice guy. And lastly, he looks quite a lot like Seth McFarlane and I love that guy too! lol
hi jeremy, i have a question. what happens if you keep the sax on the stand too long? will it collect dust, oxidate, or damage the instrument in any way? would it be ok to keep it on the stand at all times?
Hi Willi, yes absolutely, you could keep the sax on the stand at all times - the worst thing that would happen is that it would collect a bit of dust, which wouldn’t be a problem. As long as it’s not stored outside you won’t have any problems at all 👍
What about grabbing the saxophone by the bell-to-body brace? What is better, a tall sax stand (like the DS730B Hercules stand) or a small one (like DS630B)?
Hi Hadrian. I don’t recommend grabbing the saxophone by the bell- to body brace. Regarding stands, either of those Hercules stands should work just fine. They’re very high quality stands. Regards, Jeremy.

Hi Aparajit, I haven't played orange box Rico's for a long time, but they used to be the cheapest reeds that Rico made, which made them quite inconsistent. If you've got the time / expertise to use a reed tool like the Reed Geek and do a little bit of work on them I believe they can be made to play quite well! Otherwise if you're still fairly new to the saxophone but would like more of a classically focussed reed I would recommend the Vandoren Traditional (blue box) reeds, or the D'Addario Royal (formally Rico Royal). All the best!
Hi Jeremy - where is safe to grab a straight soprano? I feel awkward holding all the weight on just the bell and rush to get another hand underneath it (when lifting it out of the case, for instance) just so I feel comfortable and get it connected to my neck strap (when I then feel much more in control), but I'm not sure if perhaps there's a better way to be holding/lifting it? Basically it feels...wrong...to be holding it by an extreme end - in the case of an alto/tenor, the bell is much closer to center mass, so holding it there feels natural.
Hey Alex, great question! It’s totally ok to use your other hand the pick up and support the instrument, just as long as you’re not holding it by the keys.. totally agree this is more awkward on the straight soprano! The more you get a feel for the instrument the more you get a sense of how much pressure you can really apply to the body.. sounds like you’re being careful so I’m sure you’ll be ok! 👍
Hi dear brother! My question is: im a beginner. I want bay saxophone. I like curved soprano saxophone Is this saxophone beater for me has a beginner? Or alto saxophone? Please give me idea. Thanks....
Hey man! The alto saxophone will actually be quite a lot easier for you to learn on as a beginner, and you'll probably find them more affordable than the soprano saxes. That being said, if you're totally set on starting on soprano, I don't like to discourage anyone from trying it out since you can overcome the challenges if you're dedicated to practicing it. I made a video about the soprano sax here you might find useful! ruclips.net/video/9DAsl8b6jsg/видео.html

Hey Jeremy... would it be okay if I store the sax inside the case with a stand-up position after I'm done playing for the day?
