Halo 2 HD Patch Released, UnlockSwitch Announcement, Aiseirigh PSP Unbricker - ModChat 119

- Starting off with a new piece of homebrew for the PS4 which allows modified PS4 owners to watch 3D videos on their 3D enabled displays or even PSVR headsets! The original Xbox gets some more love with the release of Xbox Content Archive Tool and the Halo 2 HD patch, the latter of which allows for Halo 2 to run at proper 480p or of course HD resolutions natively. We also cover a lack of MIG Switch updates, news of a clone device called the UnlockSwitch... All coming back to MIG Switch? PSP also gets a ton of love with the Aiseirigh unbricker finally being released for ALL models of the PSP, along with a new cIPL and a new release of Despertar del Cementario which also all work on ALL models!

I have 2 og xbox it 2nd hand that has a bunch of save files ect
And I only removed the cap for one of them but I need to do the 2nd one cuz on the other one I did it had the residue spilling on the motherboard [slightly]

Very excited for DKWDRV, popstation is cool but has many limitations including not being able to use controllers like the neGcon and lightguns.
For sure! To my understanding, it was a limited emulator that only was intended for one single game.
I really wish they make a blue tooth divise for the GBA so we can use modern controllers.
Is DKWDRV a Dropin Replacement for the OG Ps1 Emu on Ps2 ? can i still us it to start my PS1 Gumps from my PS2 MAIN! Menu ?

How do you patch the xbe file in Halo 2, I'm having trouble doing it. I keep getting an error in delta when I try to patch XBE file. You should make a tutorial video.

I have the wrong version it seems. I think I need to rip a fresh version from disk.
I had to use version 1.0, I got it to work. It looks pretty dam good for 20 year old hardware. Finally a good reason to have the RAM upgrade.
Not getting any of these switch flash cartridges until one is free and and open source. DEFINITELY not supporting Bowser/MIG Switch, especially since his days of bricking systems with poorly made DRM never seem to be over.
Any need for Halo 2 HD if use xemu on 3x resolution?
Not sure, YMMV I'd say since the release was pretty clear about it not being intended for emulators.

It does work, yes. Xemu can already do increased rendering resolutions, but this mod still helps with things like proper widescreen and field-of-view settings.
