It just occurred to me, the bitcoin, hitcoin bit of Wick's verse works in two ways. One, just a good line. But also it's sort of a sneaky, clever rebuttal to McClane's line about the underground coin game. "Oh, you want to talk coins, here you go".
McLane was the shotgun no flash, hard hitting and devastating at close range. Wick is the butterfly knife sleek, syltish and finese and absolutely deadly. Rambo was the grenade a slow delay but explosive at the end. To me Wick won while McLane was savage Wick was flowing, wordplaying and barring at the same time and was just as savage as McLane.
They were all really good for different reasons. Lloyd’s voice was a bit too high pitched for John McClane whereas the other two were a bit more believable as their characters. Zach had the best flow, as usual, but was the least funny (though most clever). Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since he was last on one of these.
