I've been a fan of LL since 86 but i always felt he truly lost to canibus LL after years of battles finally met the one mc that lyrically destroyed him & deep down he knew this but he had more money a powerful label to back him and make look like he didnt lose but if u look back canibus @ that time no one was spitting like him he made mc's change the way they flow u just couldnt come with the same ol average flow after hearing canibus (facts)
I thought Moe Dee got him too, thing is Moe Dee's last album flopped, so he disappeared from the spotlight the same way Canibus did, so LL (who's one of my all time favs too) remain relevant, therefore winning by default.
Still though, they kept it on wax, like real MCs. So props to them.
I'm in LL fan as well but felt he lost the Canibus war but not the Moe Dee war. At the end of the day LL won the war.

And this is coming from someone who worshipped LL growing up, still feels he is one of the best rapper period and loved tracks like I Be Gettin' Busy.
