They weren’t cutting edge, but the beats were far superior, the songs have more quotables, there are more songs that have replay values (100 Bars, 2000 B.C., and this track, most notably) and it's just a far more engaging album than the debut (the momentum starts to die off at around “Doomesday News”, but “Can-I-Bus” never really gets off the ground until “How We Roll” and “Channel Zero” before dying off almost immediately lol)
