She's amazing, gymnastics at 31 aint easy! Her parents seem amazing. Its nice to see coverage of athletes with disabilities. :)
She's 31!? I thought 21 Lol
This is the happiest story. I had seen her on RUclips a few years ago snd just wanted to see if she was still doing gymnastics. And here she is. Amazing gymnast.
I think I’ve seen her, too. Is that the same gymnast where parents new to the gym are always shocked when the coach would yell at, and the Dad said, “Treat her like everyone else?” This woman’s amazing. I would hurt myself if I tried to do some of those moves again. Some I never could do.
shes not a kid, she is an adult, stop calling disabled folks who are adult; kids. treat them age-appropriately. they may be somewhat immature emotionally and socially at times, but that does not mean they are not still adults with the experiences they have had, the wants and needs of any other adult. she is an adult, treat her like one, talk to and about her like an adult, give her the respect and dignity you would want. this is coming from 20 years of working in the adult social services field with clients and members from very mildly challenged to severe and profoundly challenged folks.
In this sport word „adult” is like insult… adult means „retired”. ;)
They said when she started with the coach 20 years ago, the coach didn’t have experience with special needs kids (and Chelsea was 11 at that time, so still a child). Afterwards, I think they were using her as an example for kids to look up to-if parents with special needs kids don’t think their kids can flourish in the sport, they can look at Chelsea as an example of what they could be capable of as adults, inspiring them to dive into something new
Such a sweetheart!!! I can tell how much she truly loves what she does!
Best of luck young lady! You do beautiful gymnastics. You make it look easy. Only champions do that. You're on your way to the world's!!🎉
Great job! We'er all proud of you!
It's important how much family support she has always had. I often wonder what I could've done if I'd had a supportive family instead of one that was abusive and made fun of my disability. Every person should have a supportive family like she has.
I’m sad for your past, but happy you’ve moved on. ❤
I'm sorry you had to go through that! Hope you are doing well :) 💟
Come on, she's doing better than most adults.
She is an adult.
A she’s an adult and B she is trying very hard so that’s why she is able to do it.
Lots of determination and perseverance.
@@Sept2504 I think they mean she’s doing pretty good for being an adult as most adults around that age may begin to struggle with fitness.
I love her look of concentration, and then her smile!! ❤❤❤
That's 31 year old Chelsea Werner at her best
I am proud of her too she's rocking it!
She has brands and content.
An uplifting, inspirational video.
I don’t know this girl personally, but I’m so proud of her. Tears of joy for her focus and determination. Best wishes to you ❤
Sending prayers and love to all.
Chelsea is amazing.
Wow!!! So cool! Great mom, great coach, great young lady! So happy to see!

And how beautiful daughter and mother are!
Well done; that's wonderful!... Brings tears to my eyes; how amazing you are☆
She is awesome!!!
She so good on bars❤😊
This is really amazing! It makes me sad that people treat others with Down syndrome as children when they are really not any different than people without it. This is a perfect example of how they are no different❤ you continue your gymnastics journey Chelsea!!
Wow so amazing! She does great!
People can do anything when they’re given the OPPORTUNITY to try.🎉
Go Chelsea Warner! You got this girl!! ❤❤
Wow😊😊😊😊❤❤

Love it.
I have seen her in some gymnastics movies
Wow Prima machen Sie das :)
Yea she was at my gym
I thought if she was competing at international she would at least have skills higher then lvl 4-5
31 y/o.... no way! she looks so beautiful and much yonger...
Girl, you do moves that I wouldn't dare try! -And you don't look 31!!
❤❤
Those bar kips and back handsprings aren't easy. I actually think it's unfair for her competition
Why should that be unfair for the competition? If she masters it and the others don't, then she absolutely deserves to win!
They need a gymnastics in the paraolympic
She doesn't have a physical disability. She competes at international special Olympics
@@Lori_L really that stupid and that racist are you. You are cruel. Meanwhile swimming is a paraolympic sports. Britian has a program for Disability Gymnastics. There’s a gymnast with one leg.
@@Lori_L So they don't need gymnastics in the Paralympics just because this one girl doesn't have a physical disability? There are lots of girls who DO have physical disabilities who would love to compete in gymnastics, and they shouldn't be denied it just because this one girl doesn't have a physical disability. They DO need gymnastics in the Paralympics!
@Lori_L: Down syndrome is a physical disability with an intellectual component. People who have it usually have low muscle tone, poor core strength, and sometimes slightly wonky body proportions (throws off center of gravity) and usually have to train more than others to get the same results athletically. They also tend to be a bit chubby in build. A ripped superstar gymnast with Down syndrome who looks like a fitness influencer is a testimony to INSANELY hard work on her part.
I don't think there's enough of them to create a competition.
Hi
Второй случай( по моим наблюдениям) когда вес нормальный у особенного ребёнка. Есть еще в России мальчик гимнаст . Значит можно держать вес, а не (извиняюсь) - короветь.
what goes up must come down
What do you mean by that?
Richard ...
Like your mom and your erectile dysfunction
It’s a pun on her condition. And a pretty cute one at that. I bet she’d get a kick out of hearing it! If I were her I know I would! (And would probably make it into a t shirt!) :P
needs much more work
There’s fully functional lazy fat asses that can’t even do pull ups. Anyone that speaks about these people badly has high chances of becoming deformed themselves or their kids.
You are making fun of someone with down syndrome, please seek help.
Why do you expect from a person with down syndrome? Do you expect her to be like Simone Biles?
Dad: “Honey, did you make the appointment for the prenatal tests?”
Mom: “Darn it- I forgot! Oh well, I’m sure everything’s fine.”
Baby: 🥴
Wow world class pos
IKR?! Those parents are terrible for not terminating the pregnancy.@@Duhhh123
Where's your video doing the same as her? That's what I thought.
@@deliciouscoloursI prefer team sports, sugartits.
To say this - is not good. 🤨🙁
