I was a major fan of the 1999-2000 series. The writing, the art, the characters and the tone-Peter David and Chris Cross put out one sublime series. It may have been short lived, but am proud to count the complete run amongst my collection.

Nice work on Genius Vell, he is the true heir to his father and as he recently was brought back and bounded again with wreck there. Is another Captain Marvel again back in comics. Can’t wait to hsee what you may do with Phyla Vell or soon with Hulkling :)

I haven't thought anything in the comics can beat Avengers #200 in terms of how messed up it is, but this whole thing about Kree women definitely has a shot. Comic books will never cease to astonish me... for better or worse.

I liked Phyla, by only problem with her is that instead of just being her own character she is always taking up someone elses mantel. Guardians had the best run with her and i thought her struggling as the avatar of death was great. sadly that whole era didn't seem to fully understand the quantum bands, and it was a constant source of annoyance for me.

I think Genis may have been the only character to come out of the 93 annuals' " every annual introduces a new character" stunt to have any real impact on the Marvel Universe. He is definitely the only one to have his own ongoing series.
I would love it if you did those videos on Moondragon and Phyla-Vell you mentioned. Moondragon would even make a good "Fashion of the Marvel Universe" video.

I loved legacy. he had the same problems that Nova often had. That new writers would return him to being an immature kid who has to learn responsibility instead of a hero trying to live up to a legacy. unfortunately with carol as the defacto captain marvel we'll likely never get a decent legacy story. to the point that they often seem to want to pretend Mar-vel was never captain. (even the last Mar-vel toy was only called that instead of Captain)

He renamed himself photon in the thunderbolts comics. then Carol claimed the title captain marvel. i remember Marvel and the media was bragging that they made a woman captain marvel and how progressive it was. and i was like what about Monica? she even led the avengers! oh well.
