My childhood superhero. I love the Wolverine story until the mid 90s. To be exact until X-Men: "Fatal Attractions". The mystery of Logan's past was so cool back then, not so mixed up. He met and fought alongside Captain America in WW2 when he was in his 20s. He worked for the CiA in the 1960s with Victor Creed and Maverick to stop the completion of Omega Red. There they found out that they were mutants too when the much bigger, Victor, grabbed both Logan and Maverick and jumped off a ten story building to escape the life force sucking mutant Russian super soldier. After the failed mission, Logan attacked Victor for killing their double agent, Janice, whom Logan love. Victor felt so betrayed by Logan after he had saved Logan in the mission. Best buddies turned bitter enemies. Logan left the CIA after that. Then the Silver Fox murder. Then Logan was kidnapped for the Weapon X project.
I agree that Fatal Attractions was the end for Wolverine in the 90's. I wish Magneto magnetically used Logan as a puppet and forced him to kill a major character. They could have used that as a way to evolve his character rather than change him into an uninteresting caveman with no nose

Can't day enough good things about this! I immediately liked, subscribed, and turned on the notification bell!! Definitely excelsior!!
Wolverine doesn't look a day over 40 but his over a century old. Thanks to his healing factor which has granted him accelarated regeneration, immunity to all disease and increased his lifespan. He has seen so much in his life. Great change, key events and generations come and go. His not a bad person but, his always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I can relate to Wolverine regarding his circumstances long before he joined the X-Men as a free agent: his childhood gone wrong, his love life ruined, a longtime battle with Sabretooth, surviving two World Wars, his chances at peace being dashed (thanks to Romulus or Sabretooth), and being a weapon for the Canadian government.
Very well done thank you so much! I was always a little flabbergasted, as were my friends growing up, at Wolverine and his mutant ability to heal. We were always wondering where he got the adamantium skeleton and claws. It wasn't until Origin came out and showed the bone claws. In a way, this ruined many stories about Wolverine that had come before hand. I remember a series of comics that showcased Marvel's heroes and villains and their gadgets. Spider-Man's web shooters and buggy, all of the Fantastic Four's flying machines and building. And of course Wolverine's skeleton and his claws that retracted in an almost spring-loaded fashion? I really am looking forward to his appearance in the MCU movies. I really do hope they condensed his origin story into something a little less complicated and more fluid.
Wolverine has changed a lot from where he originally started, after all, his claws were meant to be part of his gloves but then it was revealed that they were a part of him. The bone claws are just another thing that was added to him, also, the bone claws have existed since the '90s after Magneto ripped the adamantium out of wolverine's body.
The intro Wolverine MCU film should be entirely in Canada. And also introduce some of the Alpha Flight characters. Also, the end credit scene can feature Deadpool, another Canadian.
I’m struggling to remember this, and it sounds like it was right when I was super into comics. I’m assuming your talking about when Fisk took over the Yashida Clan, Marikos family’s clan, and Wolverine had to honor his demands as head of the clan? Or was it just “The Yakuza” Fisk took over. Damn that was a long time ago. I used to have the first 3 sets of comic cards complete. I checked their value back in like 2000, and they were basically worthless so I think I chucked them or gave them away. So dumb.
@@joshshin6819 remember as in you’ve read about it, or remember as in you saw it on the rack when it first came out? Well, he’s fought the hulk like 3/4 times, so I guess which time? The first time when he was sent to kill the wedingo but ran into hulk while tracking him, or one of the other times? The “What If” The Hulk killed Wolverine is def my favorite encounter. That amazing embossed cover, oh I loved that book.

I had the first Origins book, my brother and I shared our allowances to buy that. It was really hard to find in our country and we just happened to chance upon it. Unfortunately it \went missing in the process of moving house and never seen again. It's really sad to see that Wolverine was not involved in many MCU movies.
Thank you for making this well done👏
Wolverine has essentially died at least 5 times. Twice by Sentinals, Once by Ultimo, Once by Punisher, and by Magneto.
Punisher? Really. I'll need to buy that comic
Magneto didn't kill him, he just pulled the metal off his bones through his skin
@@Jadlotian That time. Technically, he made Wolverine kill himself. While reading up on Apocalypse, the old Egyptian mutant, or so it goes; Magneto read about how the brain can be extracted via the nose and / eyes. Well You can see, pardon the pun, where his thoughts immediately went to trying this out on Wolverine. Yes, the brain was removed, thus Technically killing our favorite badass; but as things always go in the comics, he survived 💪 👍, yet to fight on another day. I love when he fell asleep in his pickup truck 🛻 only to wake up in a compactor as it starts to crush it. He cut out of there in a hurry. Magneto has always loved to toy with Logan as soon found out about him. Have fun, and as the Late Great Stan "The Man" Lee would say, "Excelsior!". ✌🕊❤😎🤙

wow!!! Awesome Video man, Ive been a fan of wolverine since Iwas a Kid, but never got to put every part of history in order, thanks for doing these, you got a new sub bro
I just gotta say.........God is good! As for like two days I was hoping someone make a Wolverine completed origin video. Thank you so much for making this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was Awesome!!!Ty,For your hardwork dedication and passion for the comic's...
Wow Wolverine has more "life-time" experiences then a 1000 people..
Well the guy was born in the early to mid 1800s
Well he is like 200 years old lol.
i really enjoyed this one
here are some suggestions: 1. Chameleon/Kraven the Hunter 2. The Owl 3. The Eel 4. Wendigo 5. The Ox 6. Kingpin 7. The Stranger
Awesome work you've put in too get the timelines and the story in the correct manner.love it.thanks merrymarvelite
Great work! Had no idea there was this much to Logan’s backstory. Although I do think the amount of fridging happening is a bit excessive
Wolverine was really a Wolverine he would fight anyone at anytime never scared , even if he knew he would lose he’d still go and try to fight , like magneato
OMG that was the best video anybody can ever see about Wolverine! It's so awesome how you were able to break everything down like this, and explain fully the stort of the legendary Wolverine! Wow!!! You were a true professional; the way tou explained everything flawlessy, now I know morw than I can ever!!!! Thanl you for giving me all this information, as I was always confused about the timeline and story of this guy, who is my favorite Marv Superhero, by the way! Can't day enough good things about this! I immediately liked, subscribed, and turned on the notification bell!! Definitely excelsior!!
The RUclips algorithm led me here, today (a random Saturday in December).
Thank you for the detailed history!
Thank you for this video! It was very informative and I like your style of video.
Shit isn't it two centuries?
He was born what in the 1800s hell yeah lol gshit tho wolverine is like one of the best written characters of marvel he's my favorite
@@Yoloslidesno listen to the beginning he was born in the late 19th century
Good video. It's really does show just how random Wolverine's history is.
This was extremely well done 💪🏽💪🏽
Great video. I don’t really like Wolverine because of his complicated origin but you definitely summed it up pretty well! Can you do one about Rogue?
carlospointofview Come on Sugar Let's Go
man Logan had a bad life
Awesome work MM!
I was amazed by actually recohnizing many panels, read them during the early to mid nineties..
The intro Wolverine MCU film should be entirely in Canada. And also introduce some of the Alpha Flight characters. Also, the end credit scene can feature Deadpool, another Canadian.
What a channel! Found you through a comment, great work! Looking forward to going through your other videos
I could've sworn that when wolverine was working for department h and alpha flight that was when he met gambit and lady deathstrike.
Great in depth video man
I see where X-men 1 got the cage fight scene from
Hey bud. Great vid!
Heck yeah man that was good 👍🏼
I remember having the comic card of when Wolverine suit was brown and he was a henchman for the Kingpin
For the outcast of the 30/40k that’s pretty sweet bro
I’m struggling to remember this, and it sounds like it was right when I was super into comics. I’m assuming your talking about when Fisk took over the Yashida Clan, Marikos family’s clan, and Wolverine had to honor his demands as head of the clan? Or was it just “The Yakuza” Fisk took over. Damn that was a long time ago. I used to have the first 3 sets of comic cards complete. I checked their value back in like 2000, and they were basically worthless so I think I chucked them or gave them away. So dumb.
I remember his first appearance fighting Hulk.
I wish I stil had the Fleer Ultra card of Magneto ripping out Wolverine's adamantium skeleton through the pores of his skin.
I love Magneto
One f the best vids out there connects all the dots
And a big reason he joined the x-men is he was ordered to kill prof x. And why he debuted fighting the hulk. It was meant to get x's attention
What???? Why would fighting the hulk would get the X's attention ?
Excellent summary of Wolverine’s origin. Man...... Wolverine has a pretty F’d up childhood!
12:13 was trying to figure out how wolverine fits into the Marvel Universe
Now that was a hell of a original story...well done my friend
Ment origins , damn auto correct lol
Logan loves the redheads
This was FANTASTIC!! Plz do Hulk next plz
Man, that was the longest origin everm thank you!
How could you not give a thumbs up on research alone!
this is a great breakdown. what did you think of the wolverine series on stitcher? I liked it a lot and it seemed to be a rehash of some canon but also some cool modern twists and turns.
This was amazing work and now I want to see a series of James Logan off this video.
Wolverine is the definitive badass! ❤️
Dude, youndid a fantastic job on this video. Well done sir.

I like his old back story no bone claws he didn’t get metal claws until the weapon x program but he had all the other powers before the early to mid 2000’s
The bone claws were revealed in the 80's
Damn! That’s intense! Great stuff
I would love a Disney plus Wolverine anthology series where nothing is concrete and episodes are different stories at different points in his long life
Different century also
my favorite marvel character! good job
He fought the Hulk in the snow for 6 hour's that's crazy, and to end it in a draw show's what Wolverine is capable of.
