I had been fascinated with medugorje about 20 years ago. They sent me books with the messages. In one of the messages the Gospa mentioned all religions are the same. And I pondered it for some time. As I come from India I know about many religions. So this message troubled me. I then came to the decision that this is not good and I discarded all the books and that was it for me.

don’t waste time in non approved apparitions, they are thousands everyday, Those Church approved Apparitions are encouraging but our Catholic faith don’t need them, all we need is the the Sacraments n the Church teaching,

I agree with Mr. Foley completely. could not agree more. In 2006, Pope Benedict XVI visited the Biblicum in Rome. Over lunch and seated next to Pope Benedict, a Jesuit professor from the Gregorian University (a former professor of mine and a very close friend) asked him point blank what he thought about Medjugorje. Pope Benedict answered: “Nothing miraculous is happening there. Nothing.” Many people heard his answer. As former Prefect of the Holy Office (CDF), Cardinal Ratzinger investigated and dealt with Medjugorje for years.

Was at Medjugorge appx. 12 years ago and adored St. James Church. The visionaries lived in elegant mansions and drove by pilgrims in very expensive cars. Marble floors just elegant. Apparitions were like a McDonalds happy meal. Frequent and all over the place in location. Ivan was very loud and agressive at Mexican tourists that were lovely their offense took a photo during alledged vision. He was atop the mountain and yelling and I was afraid it was a posessed man was entirely shocked to hear it was a visionary.Go only for the beautiful Church and frequent rosary and ignore the visionaries for a truly holy experience. I write this with a deep sense of sadness.
Two friends. much older than me, were very devout Catholics now departed (may their souls be at blessed peace in the Lords embrace) went to Medjugorije. I never heard of them enthuse about the trip. But neither did I ever hear them condemn it. Not having pushed for a decision in one direction or in another, I came to the conclusion that they, themselves, were unsure - or possibly not impressed, with their experience. This highlights for me the potential danger of innocent souls clinging to the words and warnings of visionaries.
Unless the Church acknowledges and accepts private revelation, we are on unsafe ground.
In many places on the internet there are daily warnings of an oncoming apocalyptic situations, End Times warnings, Three Days of Darkness and other dire prophsies. It has come down to terror by fraud, in my view. Rome needs to act quickly and decisively and make its decision on what is valid and what is not.
In a word, the Holy Virgin is being hijacked to the detriment of good Catholics, so many of whom have been swept into the falsehoods of charlatans.
This is not easy to write. Nor is it easy to face up to.

I say this as one where uncertainty did just that. Now I am trying to find my way back into the fold. Where I live this is not easy - no priest, no confession, no Mass. I only have the Rosary. BTW, I'm in my 80s, so long travel presents problems. And sometimes even getting to and from the shop can be a long journey on some days.
I greatly enjoy Fr. Martin's books. As a very young student (not lerical) in Rome in the mid 1960s I may well have met him. I believe that I did. But It's just a short story, but sadly I don't feel free to tell it here. However it was a fun situation.

How did they suffer? You can make this claim, safe in the knowledge most people don't know enough about Medjugorje to contradict you.
It is absolute nonsense. They never suffered (perhaps beyond the self-made anxiety that they might get caught in a lie). The poor children at Fatima, suffered. They were threatened with boiling oil because of what they were saying. And they held true to Our Lady. The closest these clowns get to oil is when they top up the engines of their sweet rides. The only one suffering now is perhaps Our Lady Herself needing to constantly put out fires, by rewarding the faithful intentions of the pilgrims, when they could instead, have been responding to the requested Devotion of the First Five Saturdays to help realise Her Triumph. Thank you for your response to my call, they say she tells them. What call? What call has She actually made there? She made Her call in 1917. That was enough, and everything-and I mean, everything- She needs us to know was contained in those messages.
Suffering indeed, these guys, legged it from Podbrudo when the police started sniffing around, hid in the church and then came out once they (and the priests who exploited them), could see the filthy lucre that could be made through it. And it didn't take long for that to start to flow.
      Suffered! Give me strength.

With love in Christ, desiring the salvation of all, whilst knowing that many are called but few are chosen, even of those who join the True Church, because like the eleven lepers healed by Christ only one bothers to thank him. As a sinner seeking God's Mercy, I am compelled to give a heartfelt, rebuttal, saddened by the delusion of simple people, of Fátima and Lourdes of the Romanist Papist "authorities" acceptance of them as correct and genuine, and their ambivalent failure to reject Medjugordje as false and personal erroneous public opinion of "Pope Francis" that it is genuine. Path to the one and only True Church follows for genuine lovers of the truth below.
The 3 more days only of "visions", obviously not true, in 1981, control of subjects as to appearance, Ivan admitting he had faked things. Personal enrichment as well! Conversion to a false faith, Romanism, which glorified, under "Pope John Paul II" a Croatian Fascist Ustase cardinal, Stepanic, who betrayed the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and openly supported the murder of hundreds of thousands of gypsies, Jews, political opponents and most of all Serbs to the point where even the Italian fascist troops and some Germans opposed them openly and physically with disgust, describing it as worse than the Congo under Leopold. The Croatian Ustase political leadership even upbraided Hitler openly face-to-face for being far too slow in dealing with his Jewish problem in comparison with the Serbs. Church making money out of falsehood, and putting politics before truth in 1991. And money too, again in 2014 and 2021 through to now in 2022. No "infallible" statement from utterly fallible Romanist Papal heresiarch. Fátima proven to be false. See excellent ProphecyWatchers documentary on the Fátima delusion which examines the original documents which show UFO attacks, amongst other things, and even the Ancient Aliens documentaries which debunk Lourdes and Fátima completely. Only a false Church, ultimately dedicated from its head, like a fish rotting from the head, would declare obvious falsehoods to be genuine. In the case of Medjugordje, possibly, it would seem, not even the solace of potentially demonic but medically genuine healings allowed by God for some people lest they fall into worse delusion, no doubt because genuine True Orthodox (e.g. the global headquarters of the fully canonical True Orthodox Church, namely the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) being in Serbia, then like Medjugordje, part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, from the time of the Russian Revolutions of 1917 and subsequent civil war, until the German Invasion of 1941, as opposed to false World Orthodox Church members of the World Council of Churches, which forces, as a condition of membership, every member "church" to deny their own credal belief of one church and only one creed, and to recognise all other "churches" as equally valid, despite contradictions between their creeds which even an atheist such as Be
e rejection of the New Calendar and "Ecumenism" are both essential. The eldress Helena of Georgia, who was part Greek, and who died in 1977, prophecised that, unless Greece returned to the Old Calendar it would be destroyed. The love of Christ, desiring the salvation of all, commands that the following be said: all World Council of Churches members, which includes the Moscow Patriarchate, all other Patriarchates, such as that of the West, namely the Roman Papacy, and all other official state recognised "churches", their affiliates and those in communion with them, such as all the Uniates in communion with Rome, such as the Ukrainian "Greek Catholic" "Byzantine Rite" "Church" are false churches which fall under the 1983 Anathema against Ecumenism (28/7 (church calendar)/10/8 (civil calendar)/1983).orthodoxinfo.com/ecumenism/ecum_anath.aspx . The Synod that issued this was Old Calendarist and formally anathematized New Calendarism in 2001, under Philaret's successor, Metropolitan Vitali, all attempts at achieving the repentance of New Calendarist synods through persuasion having failed. Here is the text of the anathema and some follow up contacts for Truthseekers:
"Those who attack the Church of Christ by teaching that Christ's Church is divided into so-called "branches" which differ in doctrine and way of life, or that the Church does not exist visibly, but will be formed in the future when all "branches" or sects or denominations, and even religions will be united into one body; and who do not distinguish the priesthood and mysteries of the Church from those of the heretics, but say that the baptism and eucharist of heretics is effectual for salvation; therefore, to those who knowingly have communion with these aforementioned heretics or who advocate, disseminate, or defend their new heresy of Ecumenism under the pretext of brotherly love or the supposed unification of separated Christians, Anathema!" orthodoxinfo.com/ecumenism/ecum_anath.aspx
The True Orthodox Church of Russia under the Omophorion of Archbishop Tikhon of Omsk and all-Siberia is in the Truth, supporting other essential anathemas, such as against Nameworshipping. It is also the first True Orthodox Synod to have formally anathematized Evolutionism (Evolutionism, including Darwinism is incompatible with Biblical Creationism and must be rejected as impossible (even in its own terms, under the laws of probability).

    Addendum:
"World Orthodox" are in communion with the "Orthodox Church of Finland" and the "Orthodox Church of Estonia", both of which are entirely based on the Western Calendar, including its Paschalion. Resulting in New Calendarists actually celebrating Easter twice if they happen to visit Estonia or Finland at the time of the Western Easter. The New Calendarists' Paschalion, their so called Reformed Julian Calendar, is set to diverge from the Old Calendar Paschalion in 2500 A.D. The New Calendar was introduced by the free mason Meletios Metaxakis. Freemasonry has been repeatedly condemned, including even as a tool of British diplomacy by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia in 1958. Membership or other participation in Free Masonry is totally incompatible with Christianity. Unrepentant free masons, according to the 1958 Anathema explicitly, may not receive Sacraments or even burial in the Church.
The continuation of the current Old Calendarist Paschalion will depend upon the continuation of the miracle of the Holy Light as it is. Only if this changes can a change in the calendar, to accommodate this, be authorised by a properly constituted pan-Orthodox Council or an Ecumenical Synod. As happened to move the feast of the Transfiguration from a variable to a fixed feast at the 6th Ecumenical Synod. See "The Calendar Question" available for free download online. This did not happen in the 1920s period of the "Calendar change" and has not happened since.
As St. Bede, writing in AD700 to AD732 in his De Temporibus (about time), pointed out, you should note the changes in astronomical time for the planting and harvesting of crops, but continue to celebrate feasts according to the Church Calendar. Written up in the secular book "The Calendar" in the 1990s.
