I followed the Anniversary Rosary Novena this week and was overwhelmed by the dedication of those involved in the beautiful shrine and the activities. I re-read the history of the apparitions and the young visionaries went through so much at a time of religious opression. They have stayed true to the faith and the tasks given to them all these years and have given much to the world. I thank them.
Great talk Father. Saw yr testimonial on utube with Tom Medjugorje. He copped me on the street last year 😂 turned out OK. I went 3 years ago when my father died. No confession for 35 years. Now am back to mass, confession, daily prayer, the rosary and a lot of studying the Catholic faith. Can't explain this , life changing for me. Father Leon asked me why I had come to Medjugorje I just said that my father had died and I was totally lost. He told me to pray the rosary and everything came from that. 💜🙏🙏
@@orionxtc1119 This is only my opinion, but I think that the fruits are from how many rosaries are prayed there. Seek and you will find. Knock and it shall be opened. I think that we can separate the "visons" from the graces that are given there. I don't think that the visions are real now, but when I went there in 1989, I think that I met my guardian angel. There were so many things that went wrong on my journey to get there, I literally spent 20 minutes there, said a Rosary and needed to leave. I have strong doubts, but keep an open mind about those with grace filled moments. I just worry that if it is proven false, many will either lose the faith or be disobedient to the church. Knock is a very beautiful place in our own county... it is the only apparation that the lamb of God was present with the blessed Mother of Jesus. I don't believe we need to go so far... Why do the apparations appear to the same few and in a cloud every day? Why not in Knock? Why no apparation every day. I went to Knock last summer for the first time as a pilgrim for years. If you believed in nothing but the gathering of people it has so much power of energy and peace. Many gathered praying together... it was very moving and humbling🙏🤲
Wherever people gather in prayer, the Lord will surely bless them and that is the good fruit of medjugore, however it is not from Heaven and neither is the Divine Will devotion. Lets be honest the Charismatic movement tends to attract a lot of very vulnerable adults shall we say, and having these people tell you every 5 minutes how they saw Our Lady in a cloud in the sky or the sun spinning is enough to send you home again. It a pity and so I wont be in hurry back .

We have many APPROVED apparitions and APPROVED Marian devotions... Medjugorje is neither of those. If I was a demonic force, and I wanted to undermine the most devoted Catholics (not the low-hanging fruit, but the dedicated Catholics who know the basics to avoid), I would create an apparition that takes people *away* from what is safe and approved for Catholics to venerate, and instead drag them into the "gray area" outside of what is clearly safe for our souls. That's Medjugorje. I know so many people in the US that go on and on about Medjugorje, and spend lots of money to visit the place... while an actual, approved apparition is right here in the US and it goes totally under the radar by those same people. That's the demonic part: don't listen to the Church! Don't venerate/visit your local true/real/veirified apparitions! Come outside the bounds of what is safe and proper and good - come out into the "gray areas"! Focus on the unverified and disputed! That's the most clearly diabolical thing about it (other than the "visions" where Mary apparently told the visionary to disobey bishops and kill all the Serbs, but w/e) And yeah, sure, there's healings... but demonic forces are happy to provide healings if it gets a soul in their clutches!

Hi Fr,
Quick question, St Paul said , without the faith it is impossible to please God. What faith was he talking about?
The faith which would have you believe in God even though you have never seen Him.
Oh ok , but how would I know that faith, where would I learn it ?
