Holy shit you cooked soooo hard on this video and the builds. Equinox is one of my most used frames but I literally just use her for day form nuke with Terrify I did not know Equinox has this much potential I have to check out some of this builds

Nice work man :) I have a massive tank build Equinox, I haven't tested it for a level cap though, but works really good, i put Mirage helminth on the 4th, mainly for defense, in addition of the 3rd and some damage reducing mods (aero) and every bit of damage gets to 1 (lvl 200 enemies at least), it's really confy !
great source for builds, good video, however i have this one thing that has been bothering me : so corrosive projection reduces enemy max armor from 2700 to 2214, and damage reduction from %90 to %88.07, so it must still be worth it to strip armor. i play equinox with the day-pillage build recently, but before this the last time i used it was for focus farming years,years ago. my problem with equinox is that it does what others do but worse, -worse nuker compared to nyx, - less durable compared to nyx, -str buff is capped, -worse gloom -actually a pretty decent nova i now have 8 forma on equinox, and it definitely works, but some gimmicks make it a bit weird, or worse.

Small correction; enemy armor isn't linear it's a root function but is approximately linear at the top of the curve. Corrosive Projection descales it from 90% capped to 81% capped, increasing your damage by 1.9x not 3x. Still peak value though.
@@tomj819 Really? I must've had something messed up in my testing before, I had weapons doing almost 3x. I tested it with Burston, Lanka, and Braton. I'll have to go back and figure out what I screwed up.
@@Einzweig I'll be honest I haven't personally tested it empirically in-game but the new formula on the wiki produces numbers that tie in with everything Pablo has stated about where thresholds lie and what I have heard from the math sweats I trust. If I have time today I'll run a little experiment to confirm/deny.
@@abitterdraft You just have to get a general feel for it I guess? It depends on the enemy level, so you can't go off just looking at the number. The nuke stores 75% of the HP of every enemy you kill, so if you kill enough enemies that are tanky and account for armor, it doesn't take that many kills.
@@arne6319 That's probably true, I just had it there so the energy drain from her 4 wouldn't be as high, but you could easily replace it with something else.
I will always say, all of equinox's augments should have been her base kit. If they do that, and introduce new augments, she would be an actually good frame. As is, you might as well just play Dante.

The Reave build is surely better for level cap, but personally I still enjoy the classic Terrify/Nuke build. I'll definitely try the Reave one.

Don’t forget to mention with your rebuild that reeve ignores armor and contributes directly to the charge for your maim
Emissive color should be white for Day and black for night unless you are a Master Fashion Framer or good at recognizing tints and shades.

it does cap at 50. it caps at 80
for a nuke build could you not use coaction drift for a stronger nuke or would it be pointless?
On ur pillage day build i think its pointless to run continuity since nothing needs duration and pillage is better with low duration as well
