I love watching these journey compilations, but I was mostly moved by Kelly schooling him on proper breathing technique. The whole shoulder lifting/breathe from your diaphragm conversation is so necessary and vital. Glad we got to see that piece of critical vocal training for any singer!
I love the voice ..its a show that gives people a second chance, a reason to get up and move on despite life troubles..I became emotional when I heard Brock's story..love from Sierra Leone to all they amazing coaches of this show .
Brock is an Amazing guy & a very talented singer. I'm glad Kelly picked him to be on his team & let him follow his dreams. I know his mom is looking down & so very proud of who he has become as a person & the love he has for him & everyone he meets on the way. Best of Luck & Wishes Brock, You truelly deserve it❤❤❤❤❤

Love brock's voice and how he makes songs his own... He couldn't make a better choice than kelly. She's an amazing couch and i would've love to perform for her 1 day... I would love to see more of brock and what he learn from her and how he nurtured the advice about the breathing exercises...
Kelly is a good coach. I will slightly split hairs here. Brock has a good tone but lacks the basic techniques of supporting his voice to sing anything challenging, unfortunately. Breathing correctly will help him become a better singer. Yes he is born with natural singing voice, but without good solid technique he will be sorely limited. Kelly was hoping he would learn the basics of good supporting breathing and relaxing while singing but unfortunately I think Brock didn’t have enough time to fully realise his singing potential. Singing takes time, it’s like learning any skill. Also, the brain, muscle connection to control the complexities of the voice takes different times for people to learn. You don’t grow big muscles from 1 day in the gym, it takes time and consistency. Neither of which Brock had in this competition unfortunately.
I love Kelly and I love Brock's voice - unfortunately he was often not on the tone, but with a little more vocal technique he would be great, I'm sure! Good luck, Brock, and hold on!!!
I think every artist have their style for a reason. Maybe she should have chosen more songs aligned with his voice and where he was at that point. He is good but he is new, he needs to grow more. Brock is so humble and sweet. His story is inspiring and beautiful. Yes, he is very easy on the eyes, but his personality truly shines. He's hot and that's just a bonus. His voice is smooth and calming. He is a powerful and inspiring individual.

Why wasn't he styled properly though? Overall, he was beautiful. Kelly is such an awesome coach, she knows exactly what to do and what you need. If a talent doesn't get better on her team, it's definitely not her fault.
Vote was good. Brock gell flat a few times and didn't give it the out loud he should have. I wouldn't have picked him on the battle but Kelly thought he was the better looking one and could get more votes .
