- In this vlog we are starting out our village seawall project. The Village boys and men are working on this while the women prepare Waite so we can have that for lunch.
Building a seawall is not easy as you need to have stones, sand and cement and have the manpower to mix and have people to go and get stones and sand.
We also have to work during the lowtide periods as it gives us the time window to do our seawall before the high tide returns.

To all costal villages in Fiji, this is just an example of what you can do for your village instead of waiting and rallying on the governments help. Vinaka navuti village keep up the great work GB.
Especially if there's entrepreneurs like Uraia making a difference with a strong self-help attitude in the village.
The government are the ones who should be doing this in the first place.

When uncle John was small they had already built the sea wall at least now when kuku vereimi and the kids grow up they have video evidence of who all continued In building the sea wall.
