I work at a school with a lot of first generation Australian students whose parents speak very little English, and I’d love to atleast introduce myself in their native language, this will help me out a lot (there are many other families with languages other than Vietnamese, but Vietnamese is the highest percentage so I thought I should try learning some of this first)
I teach English in Brisbane to first generation Afghani children (as I speak farsi as I'm Armenian but have lived in Australia since I was 12) and besides Afghani, Iraqi and Syrian Vietnamese are quite numerous now in my classes.
Cam on. Thank you for this video and others alike. I am a tour guide from Bhutan and very soon l got a Vietnamese group coming on tour/holiday here. This tutorial shall help me a lot. Sending lots of love and best wishes
I get a kick out of your personality, and I love your lessons! You speak both English and Vietnamese the same: rapidly and clearly, and I like that a lot. Learning languages should be fun, and your instructions are clear, useful and fun!
I really like yours lessons, but you are so fast for beginners. May you repeat phrases for more slow and more times? For we can learn with you, not only listening. Even if I watch this video again its is fast for me. Thanks a lot.
It's RUclips. You can rewind any amount of times and you can set the speed to 0.75 if it's too fast. I don't think she should have to make the video any longer than it already is.
In Vietnamese chut --- a moment? In Polish we can say Czekaj chut chut.. Not very often but in my region would understand . Chut -- means a little in Polish .. Maybe it comes from Vietnamese.

I hear you. But if you don’t get used to it, how will you survive in Viet Nam? Vietnamese not gonna go so slow for you. Its hard at first true, but learning this way has its advantages in the long run.
I think it's helpful to hear the flow of the language, especially as a beginner. Instead I wouldn't understand anything on the streets. Just need to remember that you don't need to understand 100%
Great information, but you talk way too fast in Vietnamese and English. Talking so fast in English trying to race comes across as low education as if trying to avoid saying the words and racing something. Perhaps it's normal in street Vietnamese, but given the information would be for beginners it's useless
Please could you talk slower? You talk both English and Vietnamese way too fast as if you are trying to show off or prove how fast you can talk. You present great information, and it's the Northern Vietnamese accent, which is rather uncommon on RUclips, but the professionalism is lost because of the speed of the presentation. It's off-putting for your videos and for the company you're promoting. Perhaps Vietnamese is spoken fast I'm the streets, but this is beginner information. Also, speaking English too quickly is regarded as lowly educated trying to race through the words by avoiding saying them. Otherwise, great information, but if not presented clearly for complete audiance comprehension, why bother, why do it?
I'm a 53-year old male... thus, all of your lessons it seems are for people greeting me (it always says if you are younger speaking to an elder). So... After all the variations, I still have no idea how to say hello (TO a younger person)... useless.
Cháu chào bác (to a younger or senior person) or since you are the senior one just say Xin chào. She put it on the screen. Before you whine and tell her how useless her video is, try using your brain. Im 51 and i can see it. Stop being such a grouch. Your frustration to learn is not her problem. Try harder.
@@moneymagnetismnetwork Yeah, you're obviously just as useless. I used to say Xin chào until i was told that's its a great "textbook greeting" but not practical as they do not say that in real life... AND in many videos I watch of VN, that is not what they say, I just can't figure out what it IS that they're saying.

The first time I watched this I was upset that you speak so fast, but now, weeks later, I am greatful because this is the speed I need. Cam On.
Thank you for these easy to understand lessons! Something that helped me in the beginning was to change the speed to 75% in the settings.
So clear and precise. Thanks!

Omg I have to slow down the video 😂 first time in Vietnam. Quite embarrassed to not know any words, the people are just too nice, so here I am
They are SO nice, I just arrived to HCMC. I want to pronounce things so that these lovely people can understand me 🙏

Thank you for this video! It is very helpful !!
Awesome! I think slower will benefit us beginners. :)
thank you, I could have spoken slower but I didn't have enough time :)
What does "co" imply in "Ban co khoe khong"? Because I often hear the phrase without the "co" - just "ban khoe khong".
Your english pronounced also good, like Indian pronounced
I really like yours lessons, but you are so fast for beginners.

I learned Vietnamese from Duolingo. I have a question, why it refers to a country with the word nuoc? I thought it means water?

I love polish :)
Việc bắt nguồn từ đâu không quan trọng, nhưng đúng là rất thú vị khi 2 ngôn ngữ đôi khi lại có cùng một cấu tạo.
Thank you very much! Lovely channel. I've learned so much from your videos! 🥰😍💌🌞😎😇💎🌻🥳🎊🎉🤝🧭

As an English teacher to Vietnamese students (mainly children) it is impossible to learn, when you talk that fast. Remember this is for beginners!
I appreciate the natural speed though
She says them slow enough during the cut scenes then uses them at real life speeds. I think it makes perfect sense.
I hear you. But if you don’t get used to it, how will you survive in Viet Nam? Vietnamese not gonna go so slow for you. Its hard at first true, but learning this way has its advantages in the long run.
