Thank you Bruce! We're really happy to have Mike onboard doing this kind of stuff for us. We'll try to let him sneak in some more videos between all the photos we have him taking.
This was a great demo. I like your energy and excitement about the amplifier too. You got me pretty excited about it. I’ve been looking and considering this amp for about a week or so I don’t play super high game a great deal but I do get up there pretty aggressive however I was also considering the Friedman JEL 20 because I really don’t need the full 45 W most people don’t these days but I know that has a great master volume on it as well, so as well as independent from what I understand, you can get bedroom tones with that master volume on that amplifier either way I am curious about the quality of the amplifier. What do you think about the inside? Did you actually open the chassis? Thanks just curious is it worth the two grand? 14:16
Hi Adam, I haven't opened up this particular one but I've seen others in the new series! Through-hole PCB with the real deal components all hand-soldered, not cheap surface-mounted stuff. So essentially what has changed is the connections from component to component are no longer individual wire leads, but rather pathways on a PC board. It's a monster of an amp, but has an equally-impressive clean side. The master volume is excellent. You can also get some different "feels" out of the amp by working the channel volumes low and the master higher, or vice versa to control how hard the power section is working.
@@GuitarsToBePlayed thanks for the great advice. I’m gonna place my order here in just a couple of minutes. Truly I appreciate the feedback. Great demo again and definitely. I’m looking forward to seeing just how versatile it is. Thank you again.
Nice Job! Great sounding amp, and nice chops... Good review! look forward to seeing more!
