I'm looking to buy Distilled, it seems pretty cool. Question about the components: you mention you have metal cubes in your box? Is that from KS? You don't seem to have metal coins, though, so I wonder if they upgraded the cubes in all retail boxes?
@@Kumagoro42 Sorry, yes I have the retail version, but I said they are metallic, not metal. They are wooden cubes painted with a metallic paint, but they look very nice.
Surprised to hear you say you don't generally like card-based games. I mean, one of your first videos on the channel (the very first perhaps?) was for Food Chain Island, and you covered and enjoyed a lot of other Scott Almes games like The Last Lighthouse, and stuff like For Northwood and ROVE. Maybe you meant it in a different way?
Yeah, the channel definitely started from Button Shy, but I sort of think of those as their own beast. I meant bigger games that play out only with cards. Either way, it's not true anymore.
