One of the best videos you've made. In my opinion everything works, whether you are a retail trader or SMC trader. Generally speaking i think most people get into smc concepts purely because of the name......they want to join the smart party but if you think about that they are some traders in the last 7 years that are consinstently profitable and may only use indicators and a very good risk management towards their trade. If you are in the beginning phase of learning trading, you literally have to study everything, backtest what you have learned, discover which type of trader you are(scalper, day trader or swing trader) and begin your journey towards times of unconsistency as you master your skills. TRUST THE PROCESS, NOT THE SETBACKS
Please more videos like this, tapping into the psychology of success. Very important and extremly movtivating to hear somone talk about.

Solid differentiating between the 2 systems of trading, and the most important lesson to take away is everyone has their own understanding of the market and staying disciplined to your strategy is king 🤩.
The market is very unstable and you can not tell If it's going bearish or bullish. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. When these reports are bullish take some off to the side lines, when news gets bearish start buying. "Keep it simple simple" that bear/ correction was the best thing that happened me.

ICT himself hasn't made a single dime from trading. He himself has admitted this
He can walk you from higher time frame charts like weekly and daily all the way to 1m. Its hard, its not supposed to be easy lol. Nothing Ive found comes close to what he teaches. Trend lines and EMAs arent gonna help much in my experience. They dont give you the “why” if seeking that. Im cool with diff trading styles, but anyone who says IcT is trash is missing out. That setup would fall perfectly in my SMC plan. As you said we have to choose what works for us and I like SMC more. I think if you understand both though it makes you better at whichever you choose.

This is your best video. At the end of the day, if you are wrong with your analysis of the smc , to begin with , whatever your idea, you will loose. And the bank will still do anything it wants!!! Looking at so many things (always thinking of liquidation) , and getting it still wrong , just gives stress and pressure...

yeah, i have to agree with you. After about 6 months and 2 books, I finally understood that support and resistance zones are absolutely essential. In connection with candles, a little RSI knowledge, average line understanding for the purpose of trend, I am now finally ready to go about it with enough self-confidence and discipline. I'm looking forward to getting serious about it next month at the latest. Thanks for your videos, I don't need them anymore. Good push but in the end everyone has to find their own thing.

you're right bro. Just use the strategy u are comfortable with n that works for u. I have tried learning ict (cuz of the hype surrounding it n many youtubers milking ict's name), but when i tried it myself, i failed miserably cuz i cant scalp or daytrade for nuts. Ict focuses a lot on day trading, price and time, n lower time frame, n lower time frame is my Achilles heel. which is why i decided to just go back to my own strategy. Take note that they are many youtubers claiming to use ict's strategy but they came up with so many different versions that it gets super confusing instead. Not saying ict concepts aren't good, but just use what works is the best.

Actually, listening your previous videos, I have incorporated SMC concepts into your trading price action approach, and SMC reinforces your strategy. The BOS levels usually follows a smilar path to your price retrace and resume price action in trending markets. The Fair Value Gaps usually correspond exacely to the points where you recommend looking to open trades. Mind you, I can actually, as you recommend, have a naked chart, and recognize both price action and SMC. But the current mindset is to have both price action and SMC in mind in my trading approach. But your point is well taken. Not trading with SMC indicators affords a lot cleaner charting experience.
Am equally combining price action and SMC,it's very good to do so

Timeline 1:30 is good... stick to what you know... All strategies are cool when you master the craft of a particular strategy. I use SMC and I am doing well with it... Last trade was RR 1:14 for me.

@@notanymore9471 I traded Retail Concept for 6 months and switched to SMC. I have been trading 3 months with SMC profitably. Every trader has different discipline level to understand a new strategy. I found it easier anyway. I have loved calculations right from school days and I did engineering, maybe it contributed to my success.
I am very patient to wait for my confirmations before opening any trade. Some trades can run for two days in profit.
@@melfordbirakor very cool, yes I figured that your 1:14 must have taken a couple days at least. Funny that you say you are an engineer as Arty on The Moving Average says in one of his videos that Engineers are analytical and learn trading quickly. I’m not a trained engineer but do have an analytical mind as a welder/fabricator/mechanic and definitely enjoy the analysis part. Hoping to find some success in this as well. Cheers!

I definitely agree on being pressured to learn SMC. I learned because my friends told me too and not because I actually wanted too. I was doing good demo trading Basic Price Action. Now I am going back to Price Action and opened a funded. Not doing good right now but I will be as good as I once was.
In your gbpusd example SMC wpuld of given you the same trade at the end of the day all you got to do is get the direction correct you build that through experience it takes years to master your emotions that’s the real battle
And in the gu trade If you had used smc and scaled down to a minute time frame entry you could have gotten alot more than 7r,like much more

Hi brother, can u make a video on entry times? Like for example how good can it be to wait for the m5/m15/m30/H1/H4 candlestick closes to give the better and safer entry, on any time of the clock like say it is 12:00 or 12:15, or 13:00.

This is how I'm feeling. I do the BEST when I'm scalping but fail when I try to trade longer term. I fail really bad.....and I mean even holding a couple hours. it's not for me. Scalping is what works great for me so I have to keep at that. I just have to.

I have a feeling that what you were describing in the uncensored section was the struggle with your "puer aeternus" - "the eternal child" archetype. I like listening to your insights as it provides value but in turn I'd like to provide some value to you. That is if you read this. I highly recommend finding out more about Carl Gustav Jung, perhaps specifically for his research on "puer aeternus" and how to deal with this archetypal struggle. You're already on a good path though. The only way you can deal with this archetype is to indulge in work.

Finally, somebody speaks the truth. I replied once under a RUclipsr that FVG strategy is nothing newer than the century old gap/break and retest strategy. I got cyber-abused later that day 😂. TRADE YOUR OWN BELIEFS, if that has positive expectancy! Smart money concept is just a name..

Tell me the perfect way to build muscles, exact sets and reps, pretty sure no one is able to answer this question.
Price action is king. Nuff said. SMC, ICT or whatever will never get this accolade.

The example you gave for HOW I TRADE PRICE ACTION NOW was a long trade, about a month long. Does this strategy work in smaller time frames? Specifically for day trading? Because I have been using this strategy for day trading, and it has been working so far for the past day or so, but I would like your opinion on how it may or may not be consistent enough to continuously work?
It's like the point is can we read the candles ...can we read the candles while the candle is moving..can we understand why is the candle doing what it's doing....that is what it's all about..you read price...that is what ict is teaching you...combine that whit you trading strategy
