Becoming a good trade takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.
When did start finding consistency? ..and more honest question is how long would a rough expectation be to find consistency for a new day trader?
I started becoming more consistent in 3 phases, first was when i killed greed, then i became more patient, but he must important part was when i started working with a coach who made me understand the importance of avoiding FUD, FOMO AND HERDS mentality. with her entry and exit strategies i was able to grow $10k to $70k in 5 months in a well diversified portfolio.

OMG entire mortgage deposit? shit that is the stupidest thing you can ever do and people wonder why trading has a bad rep, people that do this stupid acts - I'm sorry but that is the simplest truth - you did that, IMAGINE how many people out there do that.
I seen entire school tuition of $40k blown out to kittie poopoo, another guy took $10k from his wife blew it then took another loan and blew it - people are soooo stupid I swear and it is scary. Imagine how they react to life situations in real life in person - SCARY.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million..

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

1. Have a long term mindset.
2. Be willing to take risk.
3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending.

I was out of my country for years, unfortunately I lost my phone and without it I can't use my bank savings account of which I sent next of kin to help me fix my bank application but they refused until I come home.. years later I traveled home and my bank was dormant and i went to reopened it of which i found out that my hardened safe money was left with little amount. I tried sueing the bank but at the end no prove of my bank statement due to it's long I access it 😢 I almost commit suicide but i heard about trading. Oanda is a broker.. open account.
You don't need metatrader 4 if you have Oanda, but if you like MT4, use it.. I do.
Tie your MT4 to your Oanda account.
MT4 has a demo account you can use to practice on live
