100% agree. If the unthinkable does happen, some in the "progressive left" will be blaming her for not breaking with Biden on Israel, but as much as I empathize with Palestinians, I am not so sure breaking with Biden is a good idea electorally, on top of other possible national security concerns. I didn't think it's close. I think pollsters have been humiliated the last couple elections by overvaluing one party or the other and have just thrown their hands up and are saying it's a tie and every poll is just copying off the others. Plus they and the media get more $$ by covering a statistical "tie". One party will win big but we don't know who it will be bc we're not getting accurate information and no pollster has the balls to predict a landslide. And honestly I'd rather polls just say it's a tie rather than the media saying who will confidently win weeks prior and influencing voter turnout.

Actually Silver is voting Harris and thinks Trump is unfit for office. He said his opinion is a hunch, and we shouldn't trust it. No one can say who will win with any certainty. The polls have an error margin of 3%. If the polls are spot on, Trump will squeak by on literally a couple of 1000 votes. If the polls are off by 1% consistently on either side, then it will be an emphatic win for either candidate. Any hunch is therefore based on feelings and for Nate Silver it could be that worry is winning out. Either way in his article he makes it clear how the polls just can't tell the two candidates appart and there is no way anyone can make a rational argument why either of the two will win. The only thing people can do is vote. Hopefully more will vote for the sane candidate (Harris).

The EXACT reason why Trump won the Electoral College in 2016.
So many people believed that there was no possible way that Trump could win and "the polls proved it," that they didn't bother to vote.
"Registered Voter Turnout in Federal Elections," 2016 was the lowest % in 20 years.

And she has concrete ideas about how to improve daily life for all families with an emphasis on health care and investing in our communities.

(Easier for Trump because he just lies). She's sitting there next to Liz Cheney, who is supporting her. The worry about her being a radical leftist seems to be invalidated by that fact.

Gotta add more than "Trump is horrible" - you have to show you're reasonable too. Add in, e.g., "we all care about border security" this is why I will sign the strongest ever bipartisan bill, because I care about actually solving our problems in a reasonable way, and working with people from all sides. I don't want to be a dictator and force bad solutions on regular people - that's the other guy...

  • @MarcoT-ir2gi

Totally agree! Harris has to START with "country first" AND THEN say what some of those common solutions are TOO, e.g., we both care about border security and want to see the bipartisan bill signed to fix that problem, which by the way is the strongest, etc. We both want to see people having more affordable housing, etc.

I just wish Harris would speak a little definitive, less soft. More decisive. More like her debate. Say things and back them up with why. Talk about inflation is up but it’s up all over the world and coming down. Talk about how everything else it re it’s high. Be more confident about these things. Commit to using the increased taxes on the rich to help lift the low- middle!! Liz Cheney is a great example as a fantastic female speaker , relaxed, commuted, strong and that she believes what she is saying. Vote Harris, vote blue. 💙💙💙💙
