  • This will be the last Messer Gameplay video for a while, as I want to make room for other gameplay featuring other aircraft in the game.

      Hold z and then you can look around. Release it to go back to the original viewing angle.

    hey do you have any special binds or the like? Free looking while manuvering feels super funny for me

    watching this literally makes me wish I could play pilot. I have the other 2 classes at ~Lvl. 20, and my Pilot is Lvl. 1 . . .
    Could you make a guide on the basics of being a Pilot soon?

      You can simply go for plane kills while staying alive (Like I did in the video), where you'll gain more bonds and pilot experience when playing an air superiority role. At the same time, try to be aggressive, as shown in the video, and don't be afraid of dying because the more passive you are trying to engage the enemy, the fewer potential rewards you'll be missing out on.

      Just remember the Dicta Boelecke:
      1. Try to secure advantages before attacking. If possible, keep the sun behind you.
      (For some reason, the sun is realistic in this game. But this is optional)
      2. Always carry through an attack when you have started it.
      (Do not hold back)
      3. Fire only at close range, and only when your opponent is properly in your sights.
      (Keep yourself behind the enemy and fire at close range. Fire in bursts when in mid range and do not fire on long range)
      4. Always keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses.
      (Use "z" button to freecam. Do not lose sight of the enemy and if other planes come at you, determine first if you are their first target or not. If so, avoid them)
      5. In any form of attack it is essential to assail your enemy from behind.
      (Do I need to explain this? Lmao)
      6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try to evade his onslaught, but fly to meet it.
      (Ok so this is going to be a 50/50 situation for most, but if you know what you are doing, just go for it. Do not fall back and let the enemy chase you after a head to head battle)
      7. When over the enemy's lines never forget your own line of retreat.
      (Best way to retreat is to go under the enemy blimp or other enemy "blindspots" to avoid AA Fire)
      8. For the Staffel (squadron): Attack on principle in groups of four or six. When the fight breaks up into a series of single combats, take care that several do not go for the same opponent.
      (Just let your opponents deal with other planes. Get your own target)

    Can you make a tips and tricks video on how to play the messer?

    • @benmcccool0123
      @benmcccool0123  Год назад +1

      I already have some videos on the messer you can look at but I wanna give more attention to basic maneuvers as some of it will make quality of life better for you when playing the messer.
      But mainly use your best judgement and common sense when picking and executing your target whether it’s on the blimp or aircraft.

      Yeah uh know that triplex has more turn rate but worse guns (I think) because messer has two mg34/mg42’s while the triplex’s special quirk is that it has more turn rate because it has 3 wings but it still has one maxim.

    • @benmcccool0123
      @benmcccool0123  Год назад

      @@robloxcasualisbeast already covered the triplex vs messer. But mainly the triplex is known for tighter turns but terrible energy retention, opposite for Messer. The Messer has one bullet faster RPM than the Triplez
      Realistically though the triplanes should have the characteristics of the messer and it’s not the Mg34 nor the Mg42 because they the 34 was introduced in 1934 and the 42 introduced in 1942. I forgot what machine gun the messer replicates in the realistic counterpart but it’s the MG that was used prior to the MG34.

    Booo Messer! Use a Triplex like a real man!

    • @benmcccool0123
      @benmcccool0123  3 месяца назад

      After the recent balancing regarding ceiling alt limits at 2.5k alt. Yeah I most likely will now go try out the Triplex again.
      I would use a triplex only if I wanted to show off skills, but I mainly use the Messer to relax when I play AA due to its ease of control and stability.

    • @benmcccool0123
      @benmcccool0123  3 месяца назад

      @@PanzerKampfWagen1918bro It’s a maybe since it’s a pretty balanced aircraft and it’s easy handling so in terms of making a video, not likely. Playing with it is more satisfying than a messer as long a tail gunner isn’t shredding me apart
