Good motivation for anyone aspiring to do MBA... Sir, can you brief about the differences between PGDM and MBA with respect to job opportunities and scope
Both are considered equally good.
In PGDM, case studies will be given high importance, many of the practical cases will be discussed
In MBA, theoretical knowledge will be given high preference.
PGDM is good for working professionals, students can go for MBA.

M.Sc. statistics is a very good option, also think about doing Econometrics.
MBA does not guarantee you a job, but definitely doing MBA gives a better edge over others.
