On Saturday morning, I went out for another adventure in the Kruger National Park, in search for the Male Lions in the South. After 4 hours of searching everywhere, once again, they crossed my roads I travel on. What seemed rather relaxing at first, turned into an encounter I have not seen before, as a MASSIVE elephant started walking towards these lions. Beautiful sighting this was! On another note: They are far away from home, around the corner from the S26....with vacant territory up for grabs, are they contenders????

@@bpprod.4981 Old Lubye Lubye males around 12, the younger Hippo Pools male is around 6... The 2 s28 males are probably between 7-9.

Hello, I am really enjoying “your wildlife to my home”! Initially started watching live cams to watch elephants, little did I realise how varied my viewing would be. Loved seeing your Ellie today. Please can you tell me how all these prides and individual lions are named. Many people seem to know them. Keep on enjoying your passion, you are giving many people great pleasure.
I really appreciate your kind words, after reading some of these comments. My only aim is to bring un-cut nature experiences to my viewers 🙏. The Elephants made today very special, i thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with all this beauty today. The lions are Named by rangers and park organizations. So only way i got to know them, is by asking around, and learning their back stories, so i can carry that knowledge with me😁. One of the more pretty boys out here. Handsome fella he is, with a beautiful story. They are known to be on the roads, and when i find them like this, they always couldn't care less for all the cars. I apologize for just now reading your last comment. I say this because I have an illness that there is no cure for, however my doctor keeps it under control through medication. The next thing I have to have is to have a whole R hip replacement. My L hip was replaced one year ago this past March. In closing forgive me for rambling on about my health issues. I was amazed by the fact that the lions did not stir when vehicles were all around. The sighting of each individual are spectacular. When Stompie stretch you could see the power in each muscle. Thank you again for sharing. Even the elephant sighting was special. Who could ask for more. 🙏🙏🙏
Yeah these lions are not bothered by humans or vehicles at all. They know very well, that this is their place. And rightfully so😁🦁. Stompie is a machine, stunning animal. The elephant did put a cherry on the top 🙏🦁🙌. Appreciate you watching and enjoying it with me 👀

Wow. What a great video! This was so much fun to watch. The male lion with no name was definitely a magnificent king. The one called Stumpy, isn't exactly a push over either. They were great to see. Then there was that bull elephant. I believe he knew the lions were there. I say this because he raised his trunk to scent the air. I remember watching sometime ago. A young male lion being injured. Two hyena saw this as an opportunity to attack. Then walked an elephant onto the scene. He couldn't see the lion but he knew he was there. He had raised his trunk scenting the air. He must have known that he was injured and that the hyena were up to no good. Without further ado, he chased the hyena far from the lion. Anyway, great video!❤ it.

They probably came from there, and was even my initial thought when i saw them. Stompie is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. No cars are blocking any lions here? They are in the road?
Usually at Lion sightings cars block in circles nit allowing them to get thru to whatever destination they wish to go to.
@@evelynberkowitz8134 I understand 100% what you're saying now😁. Generally, lion sightings are a frenzy of cars, and trust me, you get IDIOTS roaming the park daily. With that being said, i always park off on the side, and get my footage and videos, then move on. Because you are correct, seeing that, the frenzy, i choose to not participate in those events. I rather leave. I too, would LOVE to have the park all to myself, but unfortunately that'll never happen. 😁❤️

He was massive Holger. Not unusual at all, good question though. I always come across lone elephants in the park. Sometimes even at the exact same spots too. I'm glad to hear that you enjoy my footage, really makes me happy 😁🦁. I always get in the right position, for taking the best possible angles, but also to respect the animals. Fortune favors the brave i believe 😁

Great footage. The short tail lion is who put a nice beating on the last Mpondo male a few months ago near crocodile bridge. The Mpondo male lions is another sad story. Five male lions reduced to one male lion.

I know you like these lions alot, i do too. And you are correct, many cars came WAY too close to these beautiful boys. The one ultimately made them move into the bushes. Unfortunately you do get those people in the park too. The elephant did come out of the blue, was a very special sighting to witness. Haven't notice... But there were old wound marks old s28.... He was actually in bad shape few months ago. I'm glad he recovers very well.. =)

Im sorry but ya'll pull up way to close to these animals. I know you want a good shot. But by a better camera and lens and you can achieve the same shot farther away. Maybe you are farther back then it looks but its obvious with the other vehicle on top of that lion.
Please don't use "ya'll" then. Cause i was parked a good distance away. Nothing to do with my zoom lens at all, i use it wisely, always.
