Have fun! Make sure to check out Seti Tomb when you visit Valley of the Tomb. That's my only regret.

Excellent! I like that you feature the area more then yourself. Most people just shoot themselves talking about the place they are in.

Wow, I appreciate your kind words. I am still learning lol. To be honest, I'm just bad at explaining things while talking to the camera hahah! Thank you for watching!

So amazing! Even better than the one in Vegas and you don't have to see annoying posters of Chris Angel everywhere too! ;-) Also, it's pronounced "Hatshesut". Come on, man! lol

Hahaha! I wonder why they name that Luxor Pyramid when there is no Pyramid in Luxor lol. Yea I can't pronounce that name still.

Nice ancient Egyptian ruins! How deep is Nile river?
Have you been to ancient Roman ruins, ancient Inca ruins, and ancient ruins under the sea of Japan near Japan?

    • @kjorgensen7
      @kjorgensen7  Год назад +1

I'm not sure how deep the Nile River is. No I haven't been to that ruins. I'm planning to go back to Japan next year. I'll check it out:)

Thanks for this video - it's a great production and very easy to watch. The food alone in the guest house makes me wanna visit (puts western hospitality to shame!) With so many many people working from home I'm sure I'm not the only one watching this vid in the background and dreaming of going there one day. By the way what music did you use?

Thank you for your kind words! I'm still learning how to edit my travel videos. I know Egyptians people are very hospitable.. Will definitely be back here again. Which music?

Great video! Very insightful. I'm visiting in 3 weeks time and have a few questions I hope you can help with-
Random 1. Are there many toilets around the Valley of the Kings? Also do they sell water bottles at the site? I'm going in May so imagine I will melt in the sun & will probably be drinking plenty of water
2- Did your guide take you to and from your destinations? Or did you meet them there?
3- What was your best part? Also any extra tips?
    Thanks in advance!

      1. There's a restroom at the main entrance where you buy tickets. Bring change with you coz there'll be people asking for money even though it's a public restroom. I did not see any restrooms inside the site.
And yes, there's a shop selling OVERPRICED drinks inside, make sure you haggle. We brought water with us but cold drinks are the best! Lol.
      2. Mahmoud met us at our airbnb as is our driver, they went with us everywhere we go in luxor. They're very flexible with time too, unlike traditional tours. We are really happy we got them to do the tour. Ask your tour guide if they can provide transportation as well. There is no uber in luxor.
      3. Tips. You are 101% going to melt in the sun! We went at 8am in the winter and we were melting and very crowded! Included in the entrance fee are 3 tombs, there will be long lines under the sun because all the tour groups go to the same tombs. I suggest you go at 6am. Bring a hand fan (it's hot inside the tombs), and a hat and sunscreen and sunglasses and insect repellent (most important)!
We regret that we didn't go to SETI's tomb, but we will surely go back.
Enjoy your trip to luxor! It was one of the best experiences. So much history. Don't forget to bring change for tips! Haha.
