Dan Leggatt I think from Rig Manager you should be able to pick up the performance (so that bank) if not just the individual “patch” (I don’t think that’s a word I’m supposed to use with Kemper!).

Thanks for the info mate! I've had the ecstasy 101b since 1995. Had to send money and be put on a waiting list to get it. I have loved its functionality so much throughout the years. It has never let me down. Dabbled with digital through the years(pod,helix) but took the plunge and got the Kemper stage and have been thoroughly impressed with it as well. Well put, and I’m a Kemper user. I only use in the studio, my performing days are behind me (too much lifting of heavy amps and speaker cabs). Nice tones by the way! I see a number of requests for your profiles, or how you set them up. Have you figured out how to share/sell them yet?

Hey Dan, love watching your videos, particularly the kemper vids. I was hoping you may be able to guide me in the right direction. I purchased a kemper stage within the past month from its previous owner. It sounded great, and loved the effects, etc. There were some technical issues and I had to send it to kemper to get resolved. I got it back and the overall sound and effects sound tinney and thin. I didn’t do too many things to it when I first got it. Just adjusted parameters of the effects. Full disclosure, I’m brand new to kemper. What parts of the system/menu would I go into to make it sound better. I’m mostly playing with headphones and playing along thru my iPad. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
It’s difficult to say without hearing it but things I would check - Main out EQ - make sure it’s set flat. You could always take out a bit of top end if you wanted a more mellow tone overall. Pure cab - if I play with headphones or in ears I always engage the pure cab with a low amount. Just seems to smooth out the highs. Ensure that the cab block is definitely engaged for the output you are using. I would just have a scan through the settings too. I’ve had things change in menus after an update.
Alittle late here. Recently my Kemper is not sounding right. All profiles seem to sound like the cab is off (it’s not trust me) every profile sounds harsh with little to no sustain. Have done everything. Even replaced the Kemper with a new ones. Just curious if there’s something I’m doing wrong. Just can’t seem to wrap my head around this one. Also videos are awesome keep up the great work. 🤘 -Dynomite.

I’ve ran the kemper through various cabs (with cab off in Kemper), I use Yamaha NS-10’s for my studio(can on) As of right now I’ve been using the Josh Middleton profiles. And a few my own ( 5150, Mesa and laney) I’ll send an audio clip of the issue. I’ve also tried a lot of guitars through the powered Kemper as well. It’s the strangest thing. I’ve got another Kemper on the way for testing purposes. Again thanks for the response. 🤘 -Dynomite

i have the stage new to this.i play thru the headrush 108.bought lots of profiles and none sound as good as your .no fizz your sounds like real amp in room.feel like going back to my katana artist
Which profiles are you using? A lot of these are Michael Britt and I don’t find any of them fizzy. You could also look at my video on FRFR vs Guitar cabs. You might have better results for your ears using a guitar cab or combo.

It’s very difficult to tell without hearing it in person. What profiles are you using and how are you hearing the Kemper? Cab, monitors etc
