    In reference to the 'Avo-Tech'... Just a thought that crossed my mind. Use avos that are a little past eat-able. Its already bought, but you cant eat it. Why throw it into a landfill for more waste? Even just tossing into compost will reduce the waste and give you access to those nutes eventually

      @@gmolorin6529 You need a prescription. I don´t know how they handle prescription from the U.S. You could book an online apointment for that here. Prices have been going down since april. Cannabis isn´t a narcotic anymore. Germany reclassified it. The second "pillar" of that new law will allow cannabis shops in some testareas very soon. (This year)

    I have dried in my grow tent many times and it works fine. The only recommendation that I would have is to make sure your plants are at least a foot from the soil. And just be careful not to drop them when you’re removing them to break them down.

    I mix Neem Cake into my soils and top dress Neem/Karanja during Veg without any problems. I have never used Neem oil; I alternate foliar sprays of Zymes, EM5, and Aminos with Tweetmint mixed in if I see any pests on the sticky traps.
    Biggest tip Jeremy gives that nobody talks about is using the tubs for storage prior to trimming and jarring up. "Trim Jail" was my absolute most dreaded part of growing with entire weekends filled with cramped fingers and headaches from squinting with hours wasted. Now I use large sealable tubs and come out of my dry tent at 60%, buck the whole plants down to individual colas, and into the tubs where the humidity equalizes at 61%-62%. I burp every day or two (usually while sampling) and the tubs finally rest out at 60%. I pull out a branch or two at a time and fill a jar to have something different. Thanks Jeremy for this tip, my most dreaded part of growing has now become one of my favorites!
    My biggest tip for trimming is to grab a set of cheap 2X reader glasses. I picked up a 3-pack of 2X readers from Sam's for $12 and they help me see what I am doing without squinting or headaches from extended trimming without them. I don't use them for anything but trimming flower, but they are a huge help for my aging eyes when doing detail scissor work and for only a couple bucks a cheap boost to speed and quality of my trim.
    Much grower love to Jeremy, the BAS crew, and all of the growers out there spreading knowledge. This channel has made the absolute largest impact on my development as a grower. Thanks again for all of the free quality education you provide and the number of lives you have positively impacted.

      @@Zardnokalicious thank you very much for your reply...I have been considering this method ever since Jeremy talked about it a few grows ago...one more question: in this size from Lowe's, how many plants do you think it holds in form of cut off branches, indoor grow...?

    • @Zardnokalicious
      @Zardnokalicious 4 месяца назад +1

      @@gmolorin6529 How many of course depends on size, so I will give you my basic sizes and go from there. I grow in 5X5 tents usually with 6 plants per tent using 3 earthboxes. I screen the plants out with a full canopy and each third yields about 12 quart jars total of quality flower. Once I am ready to tub up, I buck the plants into individual branches about two feet long and layer them alternating. I fit two plants per tub with maybe 30ish 2 foot stems for about 12 oz total of flower. Sometimes I grow Auto-flowers for variety, but they are finicky and easy to stunt. Depending on their size, I can fit 4 medium auto plants into one of the big totes. I tried smaller totes for those, but I prefer the rubber seal on those grey Kobalt.

    • @Zardnokalicious
      @Zardnokalicious 4 месяца назад +1

      I guess two other things that I failed to mention. I wipe my totes down with Dr. Zymes and let them completely dry before I use them and then line the totes themselves with butcher paper before adding my stems. The other thing I do is flip the buds every few days for the first two weeks by putting my hands into the sides and lifting them totally out of the tub and flipping them over so the top and bottom are reversed. This insures there is no extended contact between different buds which may cause compaction and helps even out the moisture inside the buds, plus it is fun to go all Scrooge McDuck playing with all your flower! MUAHAHAHA!!

    Absolutely revisit some of those earlier conversations/questions I think it create an engaging comment section/community for those that haven't been around the bas way for as long and they would likely benefit.
    Mentioned in a previous lengthy comment but haven't been a fan of recent seasons beyond s4, don't get me wrong there's been great episodes. I watch regularly but I know s4/s5 there was a lot of hectic things going on the videos just didn't hit the same for me. I am excited to see the turnout for the end of S6 but S2 is my favorite followed by S3. For S7 excited for the new camera hopefully the cameraman can work it well sometimes its a bit hit or miss. I also think getting a whiteboard near your tents to note talking points for the next video week to week could help demonstrate your train of thought as well as talking points for the next video.

    as usuaul great faq.
    i found something interesting in regards of sheepwool fertilizer. here is a local farmer producing it and i figured to give it a go. had 4 plants (all pineapple autos from sensi seeds - same package), for 2 i added sheepwool. both plants that had sheepwool added triggerd a diffrent phenotype than the ones without and looked completly diffrent from what they were "supposed" to look like. the ones without looked exactly like from the pictures from the webshop. the other 2 looked identical again, just complete diffrent leaf structure, diffrent color, they had a hollow stem, the other ones didnt. Only the smell is very similar.
    Its porbably the hormones in the sheepwoolfertilizer, that triggerd to grow a diffrent phenotype?
    this was my first proper grow and am very happy with the result.
    for my next round i will see if i can reproduce the effect with diffrent seeds. Perhaps this was already studied? To me it seems nice if this was a rather reliable way to trigger a diffrent phenotype with the same seeds, as if true you wouldnt need to change anything else about the enviroment. my plants had the same soil, same lights, same air, same tent, same conditions all along, only diffrence was adding like a handful of sheepwoolfertilizer for each pot (30litre pots)

    On the account of Germany: It is not legal yet, it is decriminalized. You can not import it, you can not buy it in shops, you can join a club and then get it via the club or you can grow up to 3 plants at home yet only allowed to have 50g at home of finished product (whatever that means) so even with one plant that is way too tight, but it is a start ;). In public you are allowed to have 30g on you. Not necessarily smoke it. And it has to be either homegrown or from a legal source: a club.
    So yeah, one step in the right direction but it won't be fully legal until they just stop talking about the plant and move on so we can consider it the herb that it is. I see no cops checking my rosemary plants, neither do they check my tobacco or the beer/wine that I may or may not be brewing.
    Anyway, Have a nice day out there and thank you Build a Soil peepz for the interesting content on here.

    I'd like to know more about neem, I've been battling fungus nats with nematodes, but I've heard a tea made from neem cake would completely destroy the nats, but would it harm the nematodes? It's also hard to find here in Canada as the hydro stores are not allowed to sell it due to health regulations.

    I re-till my Earthboxes for every run, just rinse out the bottom and re-amend a little. Its crazy, the entire box of soil comes out with the roots holding it together like a sponge. I have some crazy pictures of Earthbox roots after a grow.

    So i am from Germany, and can tell you the facts you should know when traveling to us.
    25g is right in public. At home its 50g and 3 Plants. Since 1.7 it’s possible to claim a Canabis Social Club license where the Province have to check and sign/allow it.
    When you come to Germany I doubt it that you will find 100% Legal Flowers. The Clubs are in the Organization State and sharing Weed from Friends is also not Allowed. Its a political mess, but its a beginning !
    Also be careful on the streets with smoking ! There are zones like 100m around Entrances from KidsZones, Playgrounds and such stuff, where you get sued (verry Hard) for Smoking Canabis. Thats also true for when doing it near or besides Children younger than 18.
    Hope it helps, dont get caught here in Alman Ländle ^^

    Jeremy knows we're here because we're buying the best inputs the market has to offer. Imagine discussing the most current trends in organic soil and the importance using diverse microbial compounds and the psychology of begging growers. Then, have to answer a guy that's too broke to grow weed, what a world we live in. 😅
