Hahahaha The music from Bloodsport…..bringing back memories. Great video
I'm gonna like this video, only because of this song 🤣🤣
I came here to say this but I knew in my heart it had already been said
Never judge a book by iys cover great technique...expressive form ...if bad guys was walking down the street they would be destroyed by this guy with a average physique ...for example im 5'11 230lbs built like a mike tyson i have no where they skills as the guy in the video ...but im learning every week i wish eventually i develop my form like the guy in thr video
I broke my arm to this song when I was 5 haha good times
@@worldbreakerfrostshut up and don’t over react
I'd be thrilled if my kick was consistently as good as the first one.
Damien Trainor 💪🏽💪🏽I admire him so much, such a great striker
Salute from Guadalajara Mex
utmost respect for this fine specimen [🤠🧬] of a gentle~soul
The perfect soundtrack to show some skills
The step is what 90% of strikers miss. Lived in Thailand for 9 years and this is a big deal
What was wrong in the first one with the punches?
Edit: never mind, I just realised that the kick was being demonstrated, not the punches... I think!
T-REX 😂😂😂
Nice soong holy shit that’s some vandame vibes right there
Best music in the business!
One of the Most nicest toughest blokes ive met. Lovely chap
Very good technique 👍
Killer combo
Blood sport baby if I train at home this is some of the music to get you in that motivated mood 🤜💪
Love training here
The first type of kick is used in Muay Chaiya.
Probably Damien can generate power and have perfect technique either way
I tink it’ll hurt a bit
I already thought the first shots were savage, lol.
Great video!
Ernesto Hoost favourite combo
Bloodsport music for 200% increase in power
What is the purpose of this type of glove? I have only seen them one other time
honestly I don’t think this specific music maybe or music period works cause ive seen wit only noise you sir produce and that and those sounds are on point
It depends.. They do keep the fists together in Muay Chaiya
Great 😎👍
Great, since you have the music playing, let’s see you spar blind folded, catch a gold fish from the pond, oh and break the brick with palm strike………bottom one. Don’t forget to grab back your friends bandana from Chun Li.
How did you get your punches fast I wanna know 😂
Waiting for "b-b-but if you swing your arm you can get countered!!" Comments from all our friends who never trained before
Honestly he doesnt even swing his arm that low. You usually see the hand on the kicking side go even lower than the leg.
Just goes to show you delusional you are actually. Swinging your arm and therefore opening means you’re prone to a counter, which has happened plenty of times in matches and training, so it’s factual. Imagine being such a delusional fangirl that you immediately think people haven’t trained when they don’t agree with you over something. Swinging your arm means more power, but means higher chance of being countered due to being open. Keeping your guard closed and throwing means less power, but the guarantee of having a fallback in case he does counter. Don’t even bother trying to justify your shitty point. The heavyweight champion in kickboxing (Rico Verhoeven) throws his kicks with closed guard and only throws them with a swing when he’s certain or when he goes for a high kick and there are plenty of other professional fighters who follow the very same principle.
I know, that’s what the step is for and your head is taken off center, to make a counter less likely and also benefits the power!
Why do they swing the arm over then down? Power? What else?

Where do you get that bag?
All I got from this was you used the blood sport song
The song from blood sport !!!
The bag doesn't even feel a thing.
Isn't this more of like a switch than a step?
That's a seven footer right? 3 to 500 lbs right?
Hands to head is Dutch style other way is thai
👍👍👍👍
💥🥊💪🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏
👍👍👍

Why the step across?
Helps to open up the hips, you can generate more power that way
also you will be harder to hit with the head off the center line
It goes with the music amigo.
@@giovannigiorgio8962 😂
Wrong both
Looking like u hit harder doesn’t mean u hit harder, the first one actually looked like it would sting more, just step no need to swing ur arms like it’s a choreographed movie scene 😂
literally watch any muaythai/mma fight ever lol
@Bonk! it’s so weird that people still can’t grasp that the arm swing allows for more power, natural movement and also counter balance. Try and put all your might into a kick while having your hands glued to your head and see where that gets you right -.-
How many fights have you had

You’re probably one of those degens who opens up with a kick and a swinging arm. Those are my favorites. I just counter them hard enough to rattle their none existent brain. It’s hilarious and feels great. Keep being a good punching bag though. People like me need those
@@milanensor2883 a few
So you step into the pivot?👀👀 Asking genuinely, cause I was just practicing kicks today😂
you can do with or without the step.
the step give more power to the kick because you are moving in the same direction, and you head stays off the center line.
But the step is a bit of a tell.
Yes the wider your pivot the more of an angle your kick will have and therefore more power
Depends on your sport tho, if you're purely training Muay Thai this is fine but if you are training striking for MMA or something of that nature it would pay to sacrifice the power for being more defensive
Look up Brad Quake Riddell on RUclips, he's a UFC fighter who fights out of CKB alongside Israel Adesanya... He has many videos detailing high level striking
@@ThePauloluis The step is a tell, yes, I can see that😅 Maybe throw a set up and then set in? I feel like that would be the best play. Or, if you're just feeling saucy, just whip that out and catch something😤
@@DankSwegSkuxxXhayel Ooooo👀👀 Thank you for the insight! I'll check 'em out and get an idea😤
I'm currently boxing, but I would love to get into Taekwondo (Which is why I'm interested in kicks and whatnot). Then, afterwards, further mix other stuff in. I've got a very small background of wrestling and jiu jitsu behind me as well. Muay Thai is on my "To Learn" list too. So it will definitely play a part, at the very least it'll help me look at things differently😤
How to telegraph your moves, 101
watch any muaythai fight ever lol
Look at this keyboard warrior knowing his shit
@@Cootjeeee Look at this fangirl riding like a good girl. Daddy must be proud of you. It’s telegraphed asf. Don’t be mad little girl. Daddy can still be your RUclips hero
@@dominus6224 nah not telegraphed, kick is hidden behind the hook 👍🏿
I've stories that hands down does help with power but leaves u open for counter. I guess don't make it habit.
You can totally get power and not let down your defense.
You can take the risk when you throw a couple of shots upstairs. Don’t engage with it though.
I really don't want to unglue my hands
First one is right, second ones wrong
you are completely wrong ningcompoop
@@colemabro u drop your hands in a fight ,I'll nail ya....keep ya gaurd up at all times...
