Reading 5 pages after each of the 5 daily prayers
    (25 pages daily)
should be enough to achieve Khat'mah (complete reading of the Qurran) in one month.
Let's say you didn't have enough time for 5 pages after Dhur and Asr prayers (missed 10 pages), you can reading them at the end of the day before going to sleep. *Please let's remind ourselves and each other Ramadan is a month of Worship, not social events, not watching TV* What we do is limit social life to a minimum, concentrate on our work/study, fasting, reading the Qurran and Taraweeh Prayers. Let's focus in this wonderful and important month to strengthen our Deen, 'recharge our souls', using this month to repent from our sins and improve ourselves. Ameen.

*THE BEST DUA'A TO SEEK FORGIVENESS & GUARANTEED JANNAH* 💯💕 (Sayyid Ul Istigfaar)
Prophet Muhammed SAWS said whoever says this Dua'a once in the morning and die before evening *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH* and whoever says this Dua'a once in the evening sincerely and dies before Morning *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH*
Please make it a habit to recite everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening
      *Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 6306*
      The Dua'a
      Meaning
“O Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.”
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
      1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah SWT
      2. Regret the sin we committed
      3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (saying this Dua'a)
      4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
      Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again
*Allah SWT promised that he will always accept our repentance not matter how much times we repeat as long as we are sincere with our repentance*
Spread this message with everyone and we'll get reward everytime someone practices, these even after we leave this world 🗺

It's true that reflection is important, however even the sahaba tried to do khatam quickly. Some of them did khatam several times during the night. Of course we are not at all at the sahabas level in imaan, but there is a virtue in competing for the ajr in doing khatam. Competing with one self. And you will get used to read a lot quickly which will make it easier to reflect too especially the more you read the more familiar you get with it and it's meaning

I'm reading it aloud to my Muslim girlfriend but I find it difficult sometimes to not laugh at certain passages such as the ones about talking baby Jesus or Moses being trolled after forgetting his fish. I also find it difficult to absorb information when the style of the book is so fragmented with passages like "remember job?" And then one paragraph whereafter it moves on to something else. In the bible it's written chronologically but in the Quran it's just all over the place and chapters moved around for some reason. But reading it aloud certainly makes it easier if you wanna reflect on what is written, I guess that is also how you are supposed to read it since it comes from an oral tradition.

Okay that requires learning Arabic and Tafsir in order to get a basic understanding of quraan. This reflection is for the mind. Reciting the Quraan without the reflection is for the heart. Both are good. The translation quraan does not do the Quraan justice. It is better to read slow if it's for understanding. It also allows you to feel what you are reciting in your heart.

But we are supposed to read Qur'an as much as we can since each letter gets you 10good deeds which in ramzan is multiplied with 70.
But this doesn't apply when you are reading the translation of Qur'an. So to maximize your good deeds, read as much as you can.
It's good to read translation and design your life according to Qur'an. I would suggest to do this in rest of the months and Allah SWT knows the best.

Quite the contrary, during Ramadan one should strive to read as much as possible, as scholars of the past used to recite the entire Quran multiple times during the day, because there is barakah in it and a huge reward. There is plenty of time to ponder and study the Quran when Ramadan ends. I am not saying pondering and thinking is bad, but during Ramadan it is not the ideal option of worship in regards to the Quran.

Nah, keep reading the way you do, there is a great blessing in completing the Quran in Ramadan and even a juz a day for most of us is challenging so just keep what you do and set a little bit of time to read Tafsir everyday. There is no way I can ponder on a juz a day and finish the Quran especially when I don’t speak Arabic or have properly learn to understand it which takes years.

I have been curious to read this. I will not lie I have gotten far away from religion(Catholicism) but I am learning that most of the things I do, are part of Muslim traditions?
I don't like to serve myself a whole lot of food, nonetheless throw it away.
Always share the food that I have, even if I'm left with none.
I don't like to eat pork, I know how filthy they are.
I clean and dust my bed every night before bed and I shower, that's a must
My sadik(I think friend is what that means) said that Allah has given me hidaya when I told him i haven't smoked in about 3 weeks
I have been wanting to read the Quran too
Or I might just be over thinking 🤔

Where can I find Muslims to debate, I would like to understand Islam but I learn through debating in order to dissect the theological senses.

That's right kids just keep reading surah al kahf about zhulkarnain and think deeply about it, maybe even Google how zhulkarnain never really.existed
