I love the strategic use of Godzilla Earths atomic breath. Used a larger, more explosive beam to break out of Clovers grip while using a thinner, more concentrated beam to deliver precise cuts to Clover.
Those of you who are saying that Cloverfield tanked nukes, he did not, the scene that immediately came to mind when reading this question was the scene where B-2 Stealth Bomber, comes in and drops its payload on the big monster. As you can tell, they were some big ass bombs, but definitely not nuclear. Adult Cloverfield stands no chance.

may i point out that the whole passive shield that Godzilla earth has is probably way stronger than what we actually think it is because the characters learn about the shield from researching Godzilla before the humans and other races left the planet and I'm no titan biologist but I am pretty sure all of Godzilla's attributes would increase the older he is so his passive shield could probably tank a exploding star for all we know.

Godzilla Earth weighs 164,000 tons. While Keizer Ghidorah weighs 100,000 tons, and Super MechaGodzilla only weighing at about 40,000 tons. I do agree that a lot of Kaiju’s can take down Earth, like Burning G, Hell Godzilla, Magic Domain, Godzilla Ruler of Earth, and many more.

While it is true Cloverfield has no current feats at the same time if you're going to make the argument that Cloverfield has physical capabilities or otherwise that would outscale what he would be proportionately capable of just cuz we haven't seen enough of him I can make the same argument for a lot of other Godzilla's who have ill explained feats which will again make it to where most of the different variations of Godzilla could still beat it after all some Godzilla's depending on how you scale specific feets could theoretically be infinitely powerful we just don't commonly scale them that high because we are aware that there are movie physics at play as well as the fact the fates themselves are under explained
So unfortunately that is not the best argument to make even though it is still a good point
Santyl the filmmakers inform us of what this thing is capable of that means that the only way that we can properly scale this thing so that it can battle other fictional monster's is by taking what we do know because of the infant and then scaling it up to the larger monsters-sized
And of course we make some high and low estimates based off of whether or not if this monsters in its prime or in one of its lows that way we can make multiple safe guesses
So proportionately even at this monsters theoretical peak based off of what we do know the condensed nuclear blast to the school or even just cutting off all of its legs would be enough to significantly injure or even kill Cloverfield
And given that Cloverfield hasn't shown us any particularly overpowered feets are information its durability level get scaled in proportion to the child
Most versions of Godzilla are either multi Continental or far far above that with some of our more common Godzilla's being planet or black hole level
And some of our more rare instances can even get up to universal or higher for our Godzilla's
So given that a majority of our Godzilla's have a durability and power level stronger than what we can currently calculate Cloverfield adult form to be based off its child form combined with the fact that multiple Godzilla's have extremely powerful ranged attacks allowing them to aim for the creatures skull means that most versions of Godzilla would win this fight
All I know is the film producers job to tell us what their monsters are capable of if they even choose to go that route most cases whenever it comes to a horror movie monsters people usually tend to intentionally illicks plane them to make them scarier cuz oftentimes actually knowing about the creature to make something a lot less scary so again because of that we have to scale from what we do know which does not look good for Cloverfield if she goes up against most versions of Godzilla
