Beginning 2025! First day of school and also the first day of my regular peaceful routine.
My daughter started her morning feeling emotional about school, while I began my day excitedly planning my morning alone.
It felt good to be out for some fresh air. However, I was too early! Other than Don Don Donki, none of the shops were open. Nevertheless, I was happy to get some good deals from the supermarket.
I spent my early morning sitting in the quiet shopping mall, unsure of what to do. In the end, I gave up waiting and went straight home.
I made last-minute Oden as my father passed me half a radish since my stepdaughter loves it. For lunch, I had a quick cereal with milk before picking my daughter up from school.
The greatest thing about picking your child up from school is seeing their genuinely happy face. :)
Friday is McDonald's day for her. This time, we stayed a little bit longer. I noticed more children coming after 6 pm.
This was also the first time I stayed until 8 pm. She had a great time and was unwilling to go home when I asked her to. However, I made a mental note to bring her here at a later time and stay longer so she can have more fun.
I ended my day with some simple video editing and slept with her by my side.
I had a peaceful day. This is my humble life as a Singaporean housewife. First day of "work" in 2025.

The Grey jelly is tasteless by itself- mainly taste great in most Japanese dishes with soup or gravy. Near to 0 cal great food choice for weight loss.
