@@johnnywhild - Very cool. I didn’t have any biscuits one time. So I used Polenta or Grits instead. I put Polenta, then scrambled eggs, then the sausage gravy. It’s so good!!

Wondering why you made your own fire pit. That kind of goes against leave no trace doesn’t it?
It does not go against leave no trace! There was an old fire ring filled with trash and a lot of old ashes. We cleaned that up and remade a fire ring in a much safer spot that is level and no grass. This is an established primitive campsite that had an existing fire ring that we rebuilt.
Why aren’t you guys hanging out with Cody and your sister.
Our schedules have not matched up since they have been back in Arkansas. Trust me, I wish I could be hanging out with them!
