    That white hair is from a deer drag. Their under fur is white. Did you taste the birch bark yet? Just take a small live twig and put it in your mouth sideways and chew the bark off. It will taste like berch beer. Don't swallow it. It won't hurt you if you do. Cool cave water fall!

    Even in winter, the Ozark mountains are beautiful! Can't wait to move there this summer.

    I have been a fan of Cody and Kellie for the last 4 months. Watching their vlogs is how I found out about yours. I have subscribed, and I have enjoyed watching!
    Some of my favorites have been the Thanksgiving one. Yall carved pumpkins and cooked a hen. I appreciate the hunting for waterfalls in winter, snow, and ice. It was beautiful! Now, the rattlesnake ridge hike had me scared and amazed at the same time! You're doing a fantastic job!
    Thanks for keeping it Whild!

    Thank you Johnny for showing us how beautiful Arkansas is! I kind of wish that you would slow down just a bit. The video seemed a little jerky but still nice. I look forward to the next video!

    Very cool area, and great video. I'd love to visit that some day, hope you have some kind of protection, looks sketchy. That field was so dark in winter, crazy dark area after sundown. Great job Jonathan! Too bad Erica couldn't go, say hi from us!

    Hey man, LOVE your channel! We live in Maumelle but take trips north frequently to seek out waterfalls…we have the Tim Ernst book. BUT we don’t always find them (lose cell signal) & we’re not always sure how easy the hikes will be. My 19 yo has autism & long hikes are simply not her jam…she LOVES the falls tho. You are helping us & I just wanted to say THANK YOU!

    Jonathon, do you have a good flashlight to keep with you as your exploring ? You say there some caves as your checking things out in your surroundings, carry maybe your flashlight to see what’s up inside of them. Interesting?

    • @johnnywhild
      @johnnywhild  11 месяцев назад

      Yes I do have a very good flashlight I carry with me. I will explore some caves, but some of the caves have a no entrance sign as they are trying to protect the life inside the cave.

    I just love your videos but am a little concerned that you crossed a lot of private property to get to these falls. In fact, they may be on private property?

    • @johnnywhild
      @johnnywhild  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you! I did not cross into private property. I use public land accessible maps to show me where public land is and these are all in the Ozark National Forest boundary. The Ozark mountains are filled with old homesteads such as what I came across that the federal government had taken over many years ago. Public land maps for national forest are available on the US Forest Service website.

    Judging by the lack of an obvious hip mounted bear spray cannister, I take it you never come across Razor backs or feral hogs?
    That was pretty cool footage and ASMR sir.

    • @johnnywhild
      @johnnywhild  11 месяцев назад +2

      I carry proper protection for any wildlife while out in the forest. However, I have never ran across any animal that I felt was a threat towards me. I have seen wild hogs and bear but none of them ever bothered me
