- Hello everyone! In this video we will be continuing the theme from last week of getting more organized in the work shop so the time spent there can be productive and intentional.
If you'd like to make some of these dividers yourself, you can download the templates for FREE from my website here:

Incredibly simple concept, but brilliant. These totes and the oddly more expensive smaller 17gal ones are great for storage and this just makes them more organized. Thanks.
Thank you!. I've noticed the price on these has crept up since I made the video. They are still not bad for the money.
I knew someone out there had the same idea. You really can't beat these containers for the money, because they have pretty decent strength compared to other containers under 20 bucks. It's pretty much the best thing you can buy to organize an attic. Appreciate you making this video
The one weakness with these boxes is the strength in the center anytime you're stacking them (I can usually go 3 high, with a minimum of 30 lb in each, without any issue) However I've done four and five container high stacks, especially when I moved last year, and I think your dividers would have made the difference
Yeah they definitely strengthen the boxes a lot. They are especially nice for keeping the tops from sagging in
I know this sounds strange but I used this technique to make a multi reptile transport tote, lol . Worked perfectly, thanks! :)
That's awesome!
Here is another suggestion for an upgrade. I bought 2 of the 27 gallon ones from Home Depot, and bought 2ft x2ft boards of 23/32 and cut them to match the inside bottom of these totes. Then I drilled holes through the wood and totes and added casters that I got at Harbor Freight (the blue 2" diameter ones). I got the swivel casters for all 4 corners. I did one about a month ago and the 2nd just the other day and they both work great to move out of the way in my limited space. They just glide around smoothly without any effort.
Yayy These are my favorite!
I'm glad you like them!
Built one heck of a divider with that cnc router. These boxes are on sale at Costco near me for $8 right now so I grabbed 20 of them to get organized in all similar boxes, right now I have a mixed set of many brands and it just looks disorganized. I really like the Rubbermaid "Action Packer" (black bin with red locking handles) but they are $35 each which is too rich for my blood.
It definitely looks more organized when all the boxes match. And $8 each is a crazy good deal!
very nice
Thank you
I have two different kinds of these totes, some from Costco and some from Home Depot. Do you know which place you got your bins?
I got these from either Lowes or Home Depot, or possibly Sam's. I don't remeber now.
@@ReeseCustoms Thanks, that’s helpful!
Can you make te.olates for 14 gallon HDX bins, and for 18 and 30 gallon Sterilite totes?
I could if I had some of those containers, but I don't, and I don't have a need for them to justify buying them right now
Hey gotta cut these free hand, would you happen to have the dimensions of your cutouts?
Same.. it said the link would be in the comments .. to no avail ..
The link is in the video description to my website, where the patterns can be downloaded for free.
Great idea but I don't have a CNC machine😢
The patterns on my website can be printed out on paper, and the pieces can be cut out with a jig saw as well. (The patterns are free on the website.)
Where is the said link for the free templates ??
It's on my website in the "available" tab. I couldn't figure out how to host the file and post it on the comments for download.
Thank you !!!
A steal at $13? I don't by mine until they go on sale at Costco for $8.
$8? That is a deal!
@@ReeseCustoms It pays to have patience sometimes and my wife wouldn't call me patient, but she knows I can find the deals.
