I'm currently working on my major project for university that involves mold making for epoxy resin piece and your series are a great help for me. Thank you so much for the videos, best I could find on RUclips.
I wish their customer service was as good as their series. I love their products, but I had to stop buying from them because they NEVER respond to my emails.
@@kevinwarner959 Hi Kevin, I don't know much about Alumilite and I guess it is not even possible to order products over here in Germany. But as a small business owner (one-man-operation) with some social media accounts I can tell about the struggle to answer incoming mails and messages. Of course customers have priority number one and not answering mails is not an satisfying experience. But most of the time it is not not willing to answer than not having the capacity to answer (quick enough). Never the less I hope you found a good solution for your work and products. Have a good time moulding! Greetings, Tobias 👋😉
@@kevinwarner959 Hi Kevin I am so sorry to hear this!! If you ever have an issue getting a hold of someone at customer serivce please try reaching out on our social platforms, specifically Instagram. I will personally see them and push them forward to our Customer service department!
You suggest the box be 0.5-0.75 inches from all sides. Does this still hold true for the bottom of a mold when a peice is only 0.5 inches thick or less?
Hello, good afternoon, I went to your page to buy a silicone mold, but I don't know exactly which product to choose. I want to make a replica of a plaster silicone mold that measures approximately 1 meter by 1 meter!! And it is about 10 centimeters thick, what silicone should I buy? I want this mold to last to make several plaster replicas. Could you please help me, I would greatly appreciate your help, thank you!! I don't speak English that's why I couldn't understand the video
Hi there! It depends on the application, our Plat line Is broken down by hardness. So the higher the number the firmer the mold will be! I hope that helps I would probably suggest plat 25, or plat 40!
I love your content you’ve saved me so much money so happy you’re still around😊
YAY! So happy to hear

I'm an absolute noob on this, so I'm wondering if there is a software to simulate or analyse the mold creating to avoid air trapped?
