I'm currently working on my own Christmas cookies today. I'm glad you mentioned how much time it takes you to get the icing ready because I was thinking something's wrong with me. Your videos have been so helpful for me (I'm new to decorating with royal icing). You and your husband do a great job because even I can follow along and try.
BTW, your Christmas tree design (with the star tip that look like branches) came out so beautiful. Thanks for all your hard work.
Yes, it always takes me so long to prep everything. I bake my cookies one night and I'll do my icing and decorate the next as each can take me several hours to do so it's too much for one night. Making and coloring icing takes me about 2-3 hours if I have several colours! And so glad you love the videos and the designs worked 🥰🥰 thanks for your support and glad you enjoy the videos!

Making cookies is a labour. Making videos about cookies is double labour 😁 Best thing is that you always learn something new, even if you do cookies for decade. 😊
It so true, both a lot of work in different ways!! And it took a long time for me to get comfortable filming and keeping my head and hands out of the way! So many things to learn, but I think I've improved a lot and we've got a good system now.

The only secret is a good video husband who does all the editing and video prep . Prep work and baking is nothing as compared to a good husband videographer . Anyone can be a good baker but not a good videographer .
Did my husband write this 😄😄 he definitely has skills, but it does take a lot to master baking and decorating cookies as well! It's a great partnership that works really well!
