the later versions changed most of the lyrics to third person which truly gives the song a more isolated and solitary atmosphere, as if simon really is alone with everything taken from him.
something I really liked about the later ones is that they kept the last line of the song in first person which gave a really chilling effect, moreso than the whole song being in first person. I do wish they kept the choral vocals that were present in this one along with the other instrumental changes they made

honestly i prefer this version over the other demo. its mostly the same vocal performance except for a few minor differences, those being at the end, but i prefer the ending of this demo over the demo in hawaii: part ii: part ii.
