There was I, listening to Steve Hillage, looking at 'Visions' art-book, never wanting to come down... Motivation Radio, Green, Live Herald, Rainbow Dome Musick... Wow, that was an amazing elevated time.
Steve was one of the first guitarists to embrace the Roland GR-500 guitar synthesizer that had recently been produced back then. It's what's giving the guitar it's distinctive sound on Palm Trees.
I had all the Steve Hillage albums in the 70s as a teen. One hear of his sound and I was hooked and had to have them all. I'm still hooked in 2017. I got the original pressing of Green which was on, appropriately, clear green vinyl. Very cool to a teenager.
Steve Hillage is one of those few very special, excellent and exceptional composers and musicians...great vibes always and thanks for posting this fine example of his great talent..so cool
I found this album when I was younger at a record fair guy wanted a few quid for it thought sod it I’ll take a punt on it took it home rolled a spliff put the record on had a smoke and drifted into another world I was absolutely smitten with the album and remains one of my favorites to this day I also love osric tentacles but I got into them after I heard this
I've been 'addicteded' to Green ever since I first heard it in '78. I mentioned it to Ed Wynne gt.ist in Ozriks and he said the same thing. This was, of course, many years ago so I don't know if it still holds true for Ed but I will always love that album.
Around the world, the current music industry is releasing music on mobile apps. Modern people who retreat from the science of sound hear them and unfortunately say it's music. Thank you everyone for complimenting the editing of 275jesuss.
Steve's 'Green' album cover came from the late John Michel's idea of a Vesca Pisces, John went onto create the 'Cereologist' Journal devoted to Crop Circles, one of the best Journal's about the mysterious subject, In'lakesh John and Steve.
Shame the masses will never hear music like this!!
I think it's good. they would spoil it.
masses need Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran! let them enjoy it. this music is for chosen few!
@@Olegzyan Folk songs will be happy with that. Only half.
You mean the group thinkers, the ones that listen to Britain has got talent, or Coldplay.

Yes, listening to the green produces an alpha wave on the head. At the same time, the nose gets full of oxygen.

Yes, there may be no trees in the universe.
