Great stuff Sam Sitting at the gas station this morning and an old pulled up in what looked like an off the showroom floor 1956 Lincoln Mark II. Saw my first one in 5, I was 9 and knew I wanted one. Still want one😅.
Sam let me take a second and say thank you for the best footage on car shows anywhere. And subscribers ... can we give something back to Sam I Am... Maybe i could suggest sharing this channel once, to your mother or father or neighbors ... To help support him with his gift so we can keep on watching awesome vids
8:00 wait… …she has to keep the hood chained!!! That’s one of the most embarrassing things you can do at a car show. That and propping up the hood with a board. Did she tell you why? I bought an old junker 57, and I truly want to know, as the seller recommended we strap the whole thing down once on the trailer, and even though mine is not road worthy yet, I do have concerns.
@@samspace81 that happened to me one show. We had just done an engine swap, and were having mechanical problems. This was an old school chip requiring on the spot laptop programming, “danger to manifold” type stuff. The problem was that it was extremely windy and the hood kept closing onto itself with the hood prop still up! So I had left the hood not fully closed, and forgot to make sure it was closed when we went onto the car show a few blocks away. Hood flew up at 20mph and shattered the windshield. Still attended. Didn’t even win a sympathy award. 😢 Yes it’s very traumatic, even as a passenger. You never really recover from it, especially if you keep the car. That was 15 years ago, and I am still paranoid that it will fly up when I drive it.
Always a good time! Thank you for sharing!

She said that the hood flew up on them once so they decided to chain them down lol must have been traumatic
